After the game Fev and Ray Hall kind of slapped rather than shook hands. Hall obviously said something to Fevola then they shook (slapped)hands again, this time harder. Hall said something else, Fev grabbed him by the jumper and really looked like he wanted to go him.

Can imagine Fev was really frustrated with whatever the game plan was, his own kicking and losing to such an ordinary side.

Hall is a dirty thug and the umpires never look after Fev. He is the anti-hird.

Can a player be reported for decking a player after the siren?

Ok, assault charges by the police notwithstanding. But where does the umpires' jurisdiction end?

The Port and Crows gave that one a good test out a few years ago. Apparently it's a police matter if they're at the pub at the time of the indiscretion

during the third quarter Fevola kicked Hall in the calf muscle while standing behind him.Not hard but enough to be deemed a siily act.The ball was up the other end at the time.Must of taken lessons from the one and only Trev from the seventies.

"Anti-Hird" .... I like it.
Fev cops a hammering from the refs, but I still think BARRY Hall cops it worse. (not including AFL over rulings!!) ...... ????

Nah .....Fev IS the anti-hird !!!!

The umpires can report after the game. In the old days umpires could report a player if he has a go in the car park after the game. Not sure how it works now.

If I was Fev playing that the crap side he is at the mo, then I would turn on my own teammates and hand out some beltings! If I hear anyone talk crap about his body language or frustration I will scream!!! Do you blame the bloke? :x

Should've dropped that hack Hall!!

channel eddie's behind the play camera caught hall grabbing onto fev's arm, then hips as fev tried to set off for a lead.

fev pleaded with the umps but of course they were too busy trying to ping lance for shepherding in a marking duel to spot hall's illegal block

I think that Pagan should meet with the coaching fraternity to discuss the inequitable treatment Fev gets from the umps, just as Roos did for Hall, Sheedy for Lloyd in defence of their players' mistreatment from the umpires.

Duty of Care for his players is the duty of the coach. Do not make it public. There's enough footage to refer to. It is becoming very frustrating from a supporter point of view, and personally I am accepting the harsh treatment he receives from umpires as it has become, unfairly, the norm.

Lance is the other one, and why he cops it from the umps, I do not understand. He never back chats, nor does he openly disagree with their decisions, and just gets on with it.

Ditto.

I'd be a little surprised if he hasn't met with Gieschen. still, Gieschen's so f*cking stupid, and useless, that nothing will be done about it.

you're right, but i just can't see pagan doing it unfortunately.

lance was "featured" in the umpires' dvd in relation to shepherding or blocking the run and therefore denying the other guy a FAIR marking attempt. i'm convinced that this has inprinted in the umpires' minds so that lance will always get pinged for it. anytime lance takes his eye off the ball to see what's coming he will be penalised.

richo did NOT make a fair attempt to take the mark anyway. he put his hands on lance's back to give himself a ride. lance's act had nothing to do with richo's use of the hands. but, that idiot umpire (jeffries?) did NOT take richo's illegal launch into account, just referred to the dvd footage inprinted in his mind.

that beg's the question, how many other players used in that dvd are associated with the infringement and get pinged for it every time as lance does?

why doesn't gieschen the flower use suburban players or actors etc instead?

Richo was hanging it on Lance after he got the goal from that "shepherd" Lance was shaking his head and Richo was laughing. He knew he'd got a freebie.

it was channel 9 danny ...

your mate lyon called it disgraceful decision
cometti i think agreed with gawwy
dwayne also thought it sucked
dermie, typically, was getting all technical and prattling on about something relating to 1.5 metres of space as some sort of barometer ... to be honest i tuned out cos he really can talk some shite and i was still fired up!!

dermie also made some comment about lance looking back to see what was coming, then not putting up his hands. what dermie missed was that richo plonked his hands squarely into lance's shoulders in order to get a ride!!!

Am i wrong, but has he been done a fair few times in the last year fot this? THought it was a crappy decision though. Same thing happened the other end regarding Fev i think, very similar but nothing paid.

Simply the worst decision I've seen in years.

Compare the incident to the amount of other players that stand their ground in the same sort of action and don't get pinged.

I let the "f" word go in front of my old mum.
