OK sorry if this has already been asked - haven't logged on since yesterday arvo.

I'm not asking this to add negativity to the site, or to insult either of the two clubs.

But - was last night's match the worst you've ever seen??

Interested to hear as they asked it on SEN this morning & I was scratching my head to try to come up with another. I thought the first Coll game in 2004 (the Davies one) was awful for 3 qtrs, but last night, I think, was worse.

Fair dinkum, it was as if it was bucketing down & blowing a gale.

it was frenetic and exciting, the skills of both teams suffered because of the pace it was played at - it's hard to hit targets when you're out on your feet. I'd take a game like that any day over backwards passing, holding the ball up.

The draw between us and Port last year was far worse. Far, far, far worse.

not the worst, but its a bit like global warming - it seems we are having more 'worse' games than ever before.

Sydney v St Kilda 2002 (?) TelstraDome.

2 goals kicked in entirety to half time.

The match ended in a draw when neither team was good enough to win.

WORST.

MATCH.

EVER.

Yep I guess it's a tough question too as you're naturally not going to remember the crap games like you will the classics.

My Doggies supporter Pommie mate best summed it up by saying...
If you follow those teams it was a terrible game , but if you are watching because you just are, the closeness and the mistakes all made for good viewing.

Then again he is a MAD Chelsea supporter also. Who is going home for the World Cup.

We should of lost by more!
They played better than us but there skills let them down...as did ours
We played without structure again which will hurt our team in the long run.
We need a player besides Stevens, Murph, and houla who can actaully hit a target.

I felt worn out after the game, that's how frustrating it was

Hey I had a bad pie last night too.

And aside from how bad it actually was it suddenly got a whole lot worse when (as a result of the appearance of the pie) my mate started discussing Ron Evans smegma.

There's a visual image I really didn't need (but strangely feel a need to share... :-D )..

I think the Kangas/Melbourne match is going to challenge last night's one by the looks of it.
