Ok, seems like everyone on here (myself included) finds something "wrong" with carlton footy club......so......you've just been made "fixer" of the club, and in a world first you have been given permission to instruct the players re: game day, pick the side, and appoint a coaching panel and president....

lets see what everyone thinks.

i want to see everyone name their:
President
Coaching Panel
Team

The whole club stuff needs a shake-up. I'm talking marketing, administration, communications, business planning, the board, the football department the lot.

It's not just a matter of coach(es), team and president.

And if you'd picked him on the ball, with Thornton at full-forward, O'hAilpin at fullback and Fisher in a back pocket, you'd be proclaimed the greatest genius of all time!

Welcome back to the thread I already made then had it dissolved into nothing in the Pagan thread?

Here's hoping this one lives.

President: Mike Fitzpatrick
Coaching Panel:
Coach Denis Pagan
Assistant Coaches: Stephen Silvagni, Terry Daniher, Gary Dempsey, Wayne Carey, Alistair Lynch, Craig Bradley, Greg Williams
Bullants Coach: Barry Mitchell
Team:
Backs: Russell Hartlett Flint
Half Backs: Carrazzo Thornton Walker
Centres: Simpson Murphy Waite
Half Forwards: Lappin Kennedy Fisher
Full Forwards: Betts Fevola Whitnall
Rucks: French Stevens Bentick
Inter: Kouta Bower McLaren/Deluca/Setanta Blackwell/Edwards

Very tall team, but reasonably paced as well, note that the ones with player/player are an either or case. I want Deluca to fusking ruck. :(

Flint is elevated due to anyone of a long list of hacks copping an LTI.

President: Next Election

Mike Fitzpatrick

Coaching Panel: Changes to implement come end of year.

Dennis Pagan
Sean Rehn
Barry Mitchell
Brett Ratten
SOS
Michael Voss

Team: 2006 Season

B: Carrazzo, Hartlett, Bower
HB: Russell, T-Bird, Walker
C: Simmo, Bentick, Scotland
HF: Lappin, Whitnall, Waite
F: Fisher, Fevola, Betts

RCK: Bryan, Stevens, Murphy

INT: Kouta, Houlihan, Kennedy, Blackwell

Game Plan: Long and direct, man on man contested football ala Pagan prior to 2006. I'm still a firm believer in the old school style and even though we still will cop a few hidings with such a young team, the longer term benefits will reap rewards.
