Scotto spoke mainly on the Rivalry betwen the Pies and the Blues Also about the losses we have had and that its a must win to try and get season relaunched and what better way than aginst his old club

Also talked about Lance and criticism ie weight and issues and that he has come back fitter and better.

Halford on and just speaking about his role how he is having more fun and is more able to do things without pressure

Speaking about how he is enjoying the mentoring role and about helping out the kids and how the Bullants have a good list

- On Kennedy - Big talent knows he will be someone who will make an impact dosnt want him to over do but thinks when he does will be a great proscpect
- Blackwell - shows a bit and will step up

- Russell - said didnt know enough about

- Santanta - works really hard and just need 4 quarters and more game time but showing how Santanta works well in VFL but struggling to get up to AFL level. Believes it is a time thing for Santanta and will get there with more experience

If Harford said he didnt know enough about Russell to comment, but on the other hand has something to add about Blackwell (both being at the club for similar times); could this be a polite way of saying he's not so fantastic?

Just seems a bit strange as you'd reckon he'd have seen a bit of all of the young blokes.

I certainly have a question mark on Russell myself, i.e the jury is out.

Time will tell of course.

Or do the actual facts of the matter make it just as likely Harf is telling the truth because 1) Harford didn't play last year when Russell started and 2) this year Harf has only played 1 game with him in the VFL (Rd1) and maybe half a practice game with him preseason game.

Russell would have played RD1 VFL then the Bullants had a bye in Rd2 and the rest of the time Russell has been in the seniors. Whereas with Blackwell he has played all 3 games along side Harford as an onballer and Harford obviously has more to do with Blackwell in that sense than Russell playing 1 game of a HBF. Makes perfect sense when you think about it really

Regards Cazzesman

Coutts said the timekeeper in Tassie used to be the Princes Park timekeeper...

Scotland said the MCG surface & grandstand were both fantastic & the players really enjoyed being back there
Been giving up games in 15 min periods & have to address it
Barney said at the team meeting the side needs to learn how to win again
Reckons the Coll game will be won & lost in the midfield
Toned down his size over summer - less weights & extra running so he could get faster on the ground

Harford was a big rap for Kennedy, said he will be outstanding
Re Russell, he actually said he hasn't played much with him this year so doesn't know how he's travelling as well as he does for Josh or Blackers, who he also said he wants to see get senior games
Rated Bower & said his nickname at the Ants is Ala, after John Allouisi
Carlos just needs to play more & more games for 120 mins. 'Worked his clacker off' against Haw but still needs to learn how to position himself

Thanks for the reports Wolfe, Moaty and CK.

There's no doubt that player thoughts during interviews brings supporters closer to reality and enable's them to feel some form of intimacy from their thoughts and experiences regarding our team; but more importantly stimulates empathy and therefore gives us a better understanding of theirs and the team's direction and progress.

The more we hear from our players the closer we feel to them, and feel for them.

We need more interviews from players regarding their progress, their opinions and the future.

Thanks again.

Keep up the hard work Setanta, Blackers, Kennedy and Bowers. You'll be in the Blue jumper soon enough.

Generally like content -interviews and the fact that they interview rookies/recruits bullant players etc - find Coutts somewhat irritating with his Spin but suppose to be fair its his role
