konstruct, i heard Harf as well last night and he was quite strong in his view that Josh should spend a few more weeks at a minimum in the Ants. Believes that he might no be ready for AFL and that playing with the Ants is the best for his initial development.

I was impressed with Harfs views on some of the lads when speaking seriously about footy. Has a good understanding of footballers and the game itself.

Having written that, I am happy the Josh will be debuting this week and if we are to progress as a footy club, we need to be playing our shining future prospects and get them used to the big time. Its not like we have much else to be frank!

Anyone know what the tattoo says on the inside of his left arm??

Quite suprised me that he has a tattoo, he doesn't look the type.

Does anyone remember how big Jonathon Brown was when he debut?
Is fair to say that JFK has a similar build and height to JB?

JFK(debut finally) wants you to know.....

Its not what your club can do for you but what you can do for club.

So become a member if you can or turn up on Sunday and lets fill this place as the new generation begins against our arch rivals.

All there is left is to drop deluca and I wont care if we lose as long as I see our future.

Russell cleans up off the half back line and looks up for options ....sees murphy in the centre drills a pass to him...murphy baulks buckley and glides past holland and then stabs it to KENNEDY...20m out....you guessed it first kick in AFl and its a GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!

Good to see Josh Debut hope he gets a good run as we know all the new hopefuls aspire to the big stage and what bigger stage than a packed out G :)

Another theory that can go both you know that some players lift and when playing Seniors they are better than if they played in the VFL of course the reverse is true also where players play well at VFL but cant cut it at the elite level. Well i am hoping and JK looks the type who could be better at AFL than VFL ... hmm maybe in hope but i reckon Murphy is one who would benefit mre in the Blues outfit than the Bullants just a thought anyway

Anyway congrats to JK and lets hope he leaves his mark on the game ..

Son of the West - The Age.

Did the family of everyone bar Brighton Diggins give permission for him to debut this week?

Quote:
When he runs onto the MCG on Sunday, Kennedy will be the 28th player to wear the No. 5 jumper for the Blues.

I'm surprised at how many key forwards from WA have played for the mighty Blues and we might even add another one in this year's draft.

Plenty of tall forwards from WA at Carlton.

Does anyone else think he looks a lot like Matty Richardson at a similar age?

Focus in the article that this means Lance will be playing back. Synbad will love this one from Pagan:

Quote:
"He's been our best player this year. If you counted our best and fairest after just five games he'd be in front."

Now I understand why Sinners suddenly is in the "sack Pagan camp".

Yeah he also says "i wish we had 2 of Lance so we can play one up front and one down back" (Down back where he gets thrashed)
then he says "Cant play him in the forward line because were too top heavy..with Fev and Waite Fisher Kennedy etc"Heavy with Lance alright...

But in a nutshell you have it... surplus for the forward line and not really a defender...

Pagan talks shyt to media.. but hey lets all think Lance is an integral part of this team shall we??

I don't think this link has been posted, but I get so excited when there is anything about Carlton in the Hun. I think their spellchecker converts "Carlrton" to "Collingwood"

Glimpse at Carlton's future

That's a frightening thought  . Kouta is nearly finished and is no good as a forward, good ones kick goals ya know, Fisher still needs 10-12 Kgs and to learn to kick straight if he is to be considered a decent forward, Waite has to learn to judge the flight of the ball AND to kick reliably.

So our top heavy forward structure all of a sudden consists of a 0 gamer, an unreliable FF and ...............................?

Ahhh well, at least we've still got Archie :?

I'm rapt for the kid and rapt the club will play JK and others. I'll keep buying memberships as long as they keep on this path. I don't expect much from him, just a bit of experience under the belt.

godd stuff blues.

Awesome to see the Friar on the park.

Play him every week, and I would give him some time in defence at some stage in the year. Time at both ends.

FRIAR!

Synbad did you notice there was no mention of Adrian Deluaca by Denis about our top heavy forward line, could this mean he will be dropped?
