this just demonstrates how boring footy has become that such an issue has created a storm, i couldn't give a rats clacker about any precedent set by the result. Footy has become a bitchy political drama thats why i dont read the papers and turn the radio off when negative reports come alight

This is bullshit about precedent. There is no precedent. The ALF has said that the umpires control the game and the timekeepers tell them when it is over. End of story. (Sorry I am not talking about the article, I am talking about all the crap served up by St Kilda & others.)

my comments were not aimed at the article more at the past few days with all the attention the matter got and not once was anything else regarding footy mentioned. A footy story is always a negative story for example Kouta a fine servant of the game played his 250th couple weeks back was there a spread on about his achievements, NO the paper was full of bullshit about board room bickering, money, this person said this that person said that.

Its all about the money these days, sensational headlines sell papers, negative stories sell papers, controversial topics gain ratings the higher the ratings the higher the advertising spot costs.

I think Carlton v Richmond last year was most unfair - I mean, why did have to be against Carlton that all those bozos actually turned up to play? Lets hope the AFL can look into it... coe to think of it - anyone who lost points to Richmond pre- Nathan Brown's leg injury should get the result reversed.

ps Congratulations to the Buzz for a land - speed - internet record for teh Carlton Football Club - when did you finish the article and send it in? Did it go straight uP?

Dear Messers Tyrant and molsey,

What can we say - the article clearly touched a nerve and explored the inticate issues that result from opening the proverbial 'can of worms'. Either that or the Carlton Football Club has realised that Buzz articles date extremely quickly and need to be put up before the stench takes over.

Mr. Dannyboy, we are assured your article will be up in due course after a little updating for the St Kilda v Fremantle decision.

Regards

Horace bojangles

Gee,

I reckon you missed an opportunity Buzz. Mike Fitzpatrick who was one of the commissioners who got to vote on the outcome has his own story.

He would have to be the first and last player to be pinged for "time wasting" that famous game against the Bombers when Neale Daniher cleaned us up in the last quarter.

I figured little anecdotes like the article presented would be useful in the Blueseum - espeically where there is no game report.

So woof, or anyone else, can you help me out with details on that Fitzpatrick game?
