No you're just exercising sound logic.

People go we're not ready we're not ready then they wonder why we look so bad in a game of footy.

You answer your own questions most of the time, you're just too emotional to spot it.

Sydney go back and check who we could have drafted.

We could have drafted Danyle Pearce.
I would have...

SPEED AND SKILL KILL...

We have too many average footballers on our list... we shouldnt be adding to it with more.

The problem after half time is they went into the break with Denis and came out shithouse.

A couple more performances where the players just cant play for him and serve uo what we just see .. and he is GONE in my very honest opinion.
If i were Barry Mitchell id be getting myself orgsnised.

Picks 57 & 67. Used for Toby Stribling & Brad Smith- neither have played an AFL game.

The sooner he is gone the better.

And this is not a personal attack at Denis, it has just become obvious from his ABC interview and his game plan that despite his "talk" about positives, his game plan sends clear negatives to his players and the Club supporters.

What is the point of flooding with all your forwards? 2nd half most of the players gave up ... they could not see any point and just threw in the towel, except for a handful. Lack of belief puts mental pressure on all the players, and I'm sure this is why we see so many skill erros. Individually, the player disposal skills are much better than they are showing in games.

And if we ask why, well the buck stops with the coach.

Round 4
West Coast - Brad Smith (WA) (Pos)
Kangaroos - Brad Moran (Qld) (Pos)
Fremantle - Benet Copping (SA) (34)
Essendon* - Paul Thomas (SA) (53)
Sydney - Heath James (Syd) (-)
Geelong - Matt Egan (VFL) (62)
St Kilda - James Gwilt (VMFL) (-)
Brisbane Lions - Luke Forsyth (Dan) (Pos)

Round 5
Richmond - Mark Graham (Haw) (65)
Collingwood - Pass
Fremantle - Toby Stribling (SA) (Pos)
Kangaroos - Ben Schwarze (VFL) (-)
Fremantle - Daniel Haines (Fre) (-)
Essendon* - Pass
St Kilda - Pass

Absolutely no idea if we would have taken a punt on Gwilt or Egan.

Everybody missed out on Pearce or didn't want to take the risk Synners, last pick of the first round of the rookie draft.

Everyone saw a gib in Pearce.. i saw a kid that ran like lightning and hit targets and had a long kick as well as the ability to find the ball.
I would have taken him with a third rounder ( except for Blackwell for sentimental reasons) and anywhere after that...

We could have used one of picks for Eddie Betts and made a pitch for someone else in the PSD

Hindsight Badman. You and I both know he had a heart half the size of Egan and that is miniscule. He may be traveling alright now but then he was simply not worth the punt.

Not having a go.. i know how hard it is to choose stuff...

My concern is the average players that the coach is bringing onto our list when there are options out there.
Of course it takes longer to develop a kid over a player from within the system...

But im just sick of average footballers coming to this club and we think we can turn them into good footballers.

Those days are over..
Oh you might get 1 in 20... and he may fool you..

But you will get fooled by the other 19 .. 19 x as often...

Add saddington to that list....pick the kids. Fisher was picked at 72 and he's better than goddard at 1. Chambers, Mott, Bower, Longmuir make our Northern Bullants a very good team! Scotlans was the only useful trade of the last 3 seasons.

short-sighted list management, negative game plan, playesr who are not inspired by the coach.

Appaling this afternoon, five years of this shit...

Need them to train at the club to be able to pick them in the PSD I think. Otherwise you draft them as a rookie.

How did we know if Betts was going to be decent either? Pearce and Betts slipped in everyone's minds, not just ours.

I just showed you that there wasn't much on offer.

Yeah, H-Plant, the ABC interview was terrible. What came out of it was that he's happy to be competitive by playing defensively. Justified playing everyone back and behind the ball with the fact we hadn't been thumped this year. We have now!!! He almost seemed satisfied with our performances this year. We're beaten before we go out, when the MC's happy just to limit the damage. The ABC boys certainly weren't sold _ and neither are the players.
How about taking a few risk, Denis????
