Speaks well Murphy and knows where he is wanting to go also wants to work on his own self improvement.

Spoke that the other draft picks will be good .
Kennedy - will be better conditions didnt work for him on Sunday
Bower - Athletic good run and rebound
Jake Edwards - 192 and possibly the fastest at the club with 20 meters.

Have no doubt that Murph will be the future Captain at the Blues. HE will learn lots of the coming years and will certainly be somone who demands respect and is doing a great job in earning it also

We seem to have a tidy bunch of players in the playing group now who can educate the players around them... great to see. :)

Not really relevant, but yeah. :P

Like all your posts they are never relevant!!!
In fact its annoying cause there are so many of them that you have to scroll through half the page to ignore your stuff

I'd ignore that jimmae...you're the one who did mention the relevance bit. It's a public forum so anything (almost) goes.

You're alright! Level head, intelligent and of course, a bit precious at times. I enjoy your input; always passionate about your team and your chosen industry (which is also relevant to footy).

We can't ignore your valuable input during the preseason, training, anecdotes and regular news from the club. I appreciate your contribution.

Now stay relevant would you.

Marc also acknowleged the fact that it's going take several years before we become a finals team and aslo have a tilt at a chnace at the flag!
He mentioned with current group of young players we have he can see great potential in the coming years. Also mentioned that Bower and Edwards have potential to play in the midfield or wing due to there speed as one of them is the quickest at the club over 20 m.

Hopefully we can recruit well next year as we have started with some great building blocks for the future!

Good interview with Murph.

Was asked when he can remember being tagged for the first time in his career…..Under 11's!!!

Wants to work more on his boundary throw ins in the fwd 50. Has been doing this with Libba & Demps at training. Said both those blokes are still really strong & Libba actually played a match the other week for his local side.

Wants to imporove his fitness & leg strength so he doesn't get pushed around easily.

yeah, he SOUNDED like a good leader... but they must have cut the part about him talking about "The Red Squad" trying to steal his thoughts, and thats why he puts cheese in his ears... because cheese deflects their mind-rays.......

given that, I'm not convinced Murphy will make a good leader

i saw walker on fox footy after the tiger loss a couple of weeks ago, he impressed me as well, the audio i just heard from 927 made me even more impressed with murphy, i assume both these boys will form part of our leardership structure for the next 10 years
