Sheedy sacked him from Essendon* and Pagan sacked him from Carlton
He is now trying to de-stabilise a club that took him on after being sacked for the first time - gave him a premiership - gave him the opportunity to broaden his profile because he played football for Carlton ie footy show et al - payed him very well - let him be a big self promoter
WE deserve better Glen

I was always a fan of Manton because he was able to make the most of his ability. Then when he appeared on The Footy Show and had a public hissy fit after being dropped my estimation of him took a nose-dive.

Sour grapes.

Heard the interview.Manton didnt utter one word against the CFC.He came across logical and reasoned. In fact he wasnt very harsh on Sheedy or Pagan.Never was a fan of Glen's on the footy show, but he came across far better this morning than i ever have heard him.
I suggest you get a copy of the transcript of the interview before you pass comment.I think you will get a pleasant surprise.

Manton was a decent player in a very good side but was gone for good the day SoS retired.

He has done little but take pot-shots since he "retired". At least some of the others who were moved on have had the good grace to keep their gripes relatively private.
