I would be putting Walker on the shittest Essendon* forward (Monfries?) and say "carve that little bastard a new arse".

I see your point WBY.

To see every player have the chance to show their wares to supporters, team mates, and those who need it most, the MC.

I can't see that as a problem. I see it as an initiative to explore and think outside the box. It will also give us time this year to start setting up for 2007.

Unleash them you say! So do I. I just want us to win this week more than any other. The first time I had a bad feeling this year was before the game against Collingwood. They are in red hot form with everyone healthy and firing. This week I'm sniffing a win again, and its there for the taking. If Walker is unleashed (and I doubt he will), then your point is that he may do more damage in the open spaces than he would at HBF on Hird.

But lets be sensible as to who tags Hird and Lucas. Thornton for Lucas.

Bring it on.

I would say Jobe Watson is now our prime midfielder and would be leading our best and fairest. Stanton is more of a wingman.

Who do you think will play on Jason Laycock at FF?

I'd put Kennedy on him

I don't know why a some people rave about Kepler Bradley, in my eyes Jason Laycock is the best prospect at the Bombers by a fair margin. I really like what I see in him. I think Lance will get Laycock and Thornton on Lucas.

Laycock is a big unit in the Paul Salmon style...Mclaren would be my man to play on him...

I rate Stanton and think he is consistent...Watson has been playing well but I think Stanton has really improved and has the skill edge over Watson. and hurts you more when he gets the footy....But Rama knows his team better than I do so we will think about Walker for Watson..I was thinking of bannister for Watson....

Andrew Lovett and his relation in Lovett Murray have also been playing well...Lovett was the poor mans Aaron Davey but I reckon he now is a good player in his own right and a real igniter of play when the bombers get on a roll...Carazzo would be my chocie on him with Simpson in reserve..

Lovett -Murray has found his niche as half back and is a creative running half back rather than the dour defending type and gets plenty of the ball and I would be tagging him.....Wiggins wouldbe my man for Lovett-Murray if he plays...

Bannister on Lucas for me; Watson can try and keep up tagging Walker if they so choose; Simmo on Stanton - even in the centre.

Laycock with McLaren as EB? suggested and Lance at CHF just to really test out if Solomon is finished or right off form and to give us positional ascendency so they have to react to us.

Lets get with the program. There's a game on this week against Essenbums. I'm sick of Manton, Pagan, Petitions and Go Karts, and all the other politicking. It's game on.

Campo is definetely out and probably to be replaced by a smaller type in Slattery 183. If the bring in a bigger guy to further stretch us in the height division it would be Welsh 188 (emerg last week) or the teen Ryder 197 (he was dropped last week)

Their Likely fowards:

FP: Lovett 182
FF: Johns 194
FP: Laycock 200
HF: Hird 188
CHF: Lucas 192
HF: Rioli 180

Mids:

Watson 191,
Heffernan 188
JJohnson 181
McVeigh 183
Monfries 182
Slattery 183

Backs:

FB: Fletcher 199
CHB: Bradley 198
BP: MJohnson 180
HB: Lovett Murray 189
HB:McPhee 189
BP:Solomon 189

There seems to be quite a few 6 footers in this line up as last weeks bench included Bolton 195 and Wilderwich 188. Acouple of talls in the midfield too. Maybe Walker plays on the wing. This will be a fascinating game. Will we or wont we? I'm positive.

What we do know is Fletcher will be Full Back against Fev usually, but if Fev is up the ground I expect that McPhee or Solomon (thug) might get him.

Prenders is the most likely to be included this week if there's any changes, and I hope we plonk Kennedy in the FP against Solomon (6cm diff) or Bradley. So who is out? I'd put my money on (in order) one of Wiggins, Bentick or Bannister. Bentick didn't seem to get a good go last week and that's always a bad sign.

Again it's in the midfield we have to win. I've got a good feeling about this one despite the fact that Ess has lost by an aggregate of 49 points in their 5 losses. As long as we start to learn to rotate players. Their midfield is not their strength and I reckon we could beat them one on one.

Lets get it on.

Drop Saddles for Prendergast and play him at on Lucas. Time for Pagan to make him a KPP.

I concur. Post of the year.

But seriously, mods delete this thread. It has nothing to do with Pagan, petitions or Nick Stevens.

The interchange steward it appears.

Right about Watson though, having a good year. Did anyone else catch BT saying he'd had a quiet day (shortly after half time) then backpedal once someone informed him he'd had 13 touches to that point.

Round about the same time that he mentioned Rocca had been successful playing on Thornton last week

Someone kept saying on SEN I think last night that Thornton did a great job on Lucas this week
