Didn't got with Lucas in the end? Didn't want him to grow up Pro-Hartlett?

Congrats Mols. Has the little tike got himself a membership yet, and when will he be contributing to the blueseum? :-D

Thanks Deano.

Yes, he was signed up before Christmas as 'Baby Molsey'.

As for the Blueseum, I'm hoping there'll be some positive recent history to report by the time I get him working in my other 'home'!

Congratulations m.

Yes hopefully there'll be something a bit more positive to report on Sunday. Last week's effort was a little hard but I managed.

4 years ago for fight back campaign large benefactors chippid in significant amounts and look where we are now. why would you do it again.

alll of you who say that the rich should just chip in a million and all is ok have rocks in your head - nobody likes to throw money away especially if tis just a bandaid solution. Ian collins and his band of idiots (aka board) have squandered money that was supposed to rebuild us. Ian collins raped the club to the same degree as John elliott the only difference was that I.C. pretended he didnt know it was going on. Why did I donate cash at fight back rally in 2002/3 it didnt seem to do anything despit all the talk at the time?

If your so passionate go and take out a second mortgage on your house and give the club a few hundred thouseand grand rather than bag people for not "throwing in" a million or two.

I hope the pratts of the world do help us out but i would not look down on them if they decided enough was enough they have already done a tremendous amount in the past!

What a load of crap. Collo had his faults, but this is absolute rubbish.

But re the original post, long tem survivial plan has to be much more than hoping a few billionaire supporters will throw in some pocket money.

And good one Molsey!!

If it's true that Pratt wants to donate then it must be unconditional. Otherwise he can keep his 7 million.

Rubbish, if he's going to wipe off $7m in debt then we would entertain it provided his conditions were reasonable.

Personally I don't think replacing the board with people you are confident won't run the club straight back into debt is an unreasonable condition in such extraordinary circumstances, assuming of course that the people he replaces them with have to face re-election at regular intervals like any other board.

Any further conditions would need to be examined on a case by case basis.

If he's asking for the board to stand down he obviously has no confidence in them. Would you give $1000 to someone who would blow it?

princess mary is a carlton supporter - can't we get some funds from denmark - we should be in contact with the embassy and set up an exhibition match over there for her or something.

We just appear to sit on our hands and whinge about our problems, i wonder if we ever explore scenarios like this no matter how left field they are.

From memory we didn't even send over some baby carlton merchandise to her when she had the baby.

As far as I know the Sydney Swans have made more of an effort to sign up the prince than we have :(

Congrats molesy, great stuff. We he spell it tommy or......tommi........?!

PS. What a prophetic thread...

...Thomas.......

It was going perfectly until we got home from hospital today and found out the cat died! The Molseys must have to stay a 3 person family I guess.

But onto more important matters, I stand by my call to not expect a white knight, but feel a sense of childish joy of the promise of any of our more illustrious and philanthrophic supporters coming through to finally wipe the mess of the late 1990's. Absolutely overjoyed at the idea.
