The single worst error I've seen in journalism, only because who the hell wouldn't know this:

Its possibly the No.1 footy fact for all Carlton and Essendon* fans, isn't it? Probably most Pie fans know it as well. Its as basic as basic can be and they didnt get it right!?!?!?

Polo recognised for starring debut

it is interesting however, that it is harder to find the information than you think.

I looked on the afl website to find where it says that we'd won 16 flags, and couldn't find it.

Same on the Blues website.
