I did remember Elliot saying recently that there were plenty of wealthy Carlton supporters who would not give money to the club until the current board was gone....

They would go if theyre the stakes.

Anyone would...

Maybe I can stand in as Ahmed's proxy until he's ready?

ps bosman - just as many rich supporters, if not more, stopped the donating in Elliott's era, and had exactly the same view ie wouldnt donate until Elliott was removed.

But I'll wait to see it happen first.

Juventus board resigns

The entire board of Italian champions Juventus has resigned after days of press revelations over embarrassing telephone interceptions involving its top management.

There must be someone on these boards that can tap a phone at Blue HQ

If it does happen I hope Greg Lee is kept, he has only been there for a couple of months.

I'd imagine they'd invite a few people from the current board to remain.

I thought that Pratt may have had bigger problems like the $500 million dollar problem with the ACCC and AMCOR.

But then I suppose $7 million is just fob pocket change to Pratt in the whole scheme of things. 8)

But fairs fair in a relationship Pratt lets his wife Jeanne run around and promote second rate musicals.

The least she can do is let Pratt run around and help and promote a second rate club.

Meaning the rumour is confirmed or that it's just still a rumour?

No idea, just caught the end of it.

Should be an interesting day at the MCG luncheon tomorrow.

Ch nine ran with it as an unconfirmed story.

Hasnt been denied yet though has it?

Look a Pratt led challenge has been on the cards for a while.

He will probably be at the footy tomorrow and im sure the journos will be clammering for a chat.

Interestingly.. someones dropped the whisper so in my opinion its been organised.
We should have a clearer idea tomorrow.

Would this be the biggest thing to happen to the club since Barassi came over?

It would have to be close.

We just have to cross our fingers. If it does happen - it's a big lifeline but we would have to capitalise on it. Still a lot of work to get the club back on its feet - even if the debt disappears. It would be our last chance to make things right. Can't stuff it up.
