To be quite honest i dont think Josh was good enough to deserve the Rising Star this week. NOw before you all have a go at me.....he did drop a couple of easy chest marks and didn't really dominate as per say...however!!!!! whilst saying that You could not be more excited with a guy playing his second game taking what was it 7 or 8 marks and kicking 2 (could've easily been 4) Therefore my conclusion is HOLY SHIT! if he isn't dominating a game and taking 8 marks and kicking 2 goals (which was more than handy) wait until he takes the 15 marks and kicks 6 goals.

SO what i'm saying is this was far from his best imo and he still managed 8 marks and 2 goals...so wait i would prefer it if he won the star with his 6 goal 15 mark game:D

I reckon they should give it to that West Coast supporter who shat his dacks when Didak lunged at him on the boundary and then yelled "Come on, come on ya poof!" as Didak was walking back to the boundary throw in.

Truly entertaining first-up performance that.

Yeah forget about the fact that he was playing the hardest and hottest spot on the ground and it was a wet day when alot of talls cant get into the game.. (see K Bradley and mates )

If he plays well this week, he'll get it.

Apart from the weekend's game, he has been great the past three weeks.
Is going to be a dominant player when he develops much like he did back in his junior days at Croydon.

Bartram this week

If last week's game is any indicator, it won't be long before Kennedy's a nominee.

Well done to Clint Bartram..is a distant relation of mine ....if you were counting the votes for the rising star at the minute I actually think a surprising winner would be Heath Shaw...been getting a ton of footy and looks a player....

Sometimes the 'Rising Start' nomination is given on accumulated performances, and Bartram deserves one from that perspective.

Usually is. If JK can have a few good performances his turn will come.
