Waite and Fisher Out.

Could this signal the return of our All Australian CHF ( U/18 's ) to the forward line. Well i know what you're all thinking Livo to CHF why when we could play Lance there. Maybe bring Livo back into the team in defence, but forward.

Some will say this is highly likely i'd just like to say Pagan could just consider this... Why Not after all Lance is a better defender than Livo . 8)

    8) 8)

But in all seriousness if Livo is fit is he a must inclusion this week, and will Pagan finally be forced to Play Lance forward.

You tell me .. :-D Come on have a go....

theres no risk involved in trying it because it is a great hance for livo to prove y he was a number 4 pick by playing in the position he got drafted to play in and adelaide dont have a great forward line either so if livo's not performing we oculd always send him down back and throw lance up forward. we're not going to beat adelaide n e way so it is worth a shot

If he's fully fit I'd like to see him get a block of games - like sporn and wiggo have been given - I dont care where he's played but if it's down back he needs to show he has some abilty to rebound the ball, be creative and hit a target. With the rules on hand chopping and the like, it is impossible to play purely as a guy who tries to stop marks, you have to be able to send the ball forward otherwise the backline is carrying you for too much of the game - especially in the carlton backline which usually resembles downtown Bahgdad.

McLaren is a bigger dud then DeLuca....At Least DeLuca takes marks and kicks goals. McLaren on Sunday was as soft as they come, two handpasses almost had Simmo and Murphy hospitalised. He missed the target without any pressure at all. A waste of a PSD pick in my opinion

Dmac had more hitouts than stkilda's rucks put together

StKilda dont have ruckmen...

Dmac may have had more taps

His problem is not many of them go to advantage in the centre bounce.. hes ok and flipping a few over his shoulder from boundary throws... but even im awake to that one now...

Like i said at Brisbane he just had to force the ball to ground and they would look after the rest.
He doesnt have that luxury here.

But i disagree with the person who said he doesnt have a go...

Ubet you are wrong. Dmac is miles better than that hack DeLuca. Waste of psd? perhaps but who else could we have wasted it on?

Thought D-Mac was useful around the ground on Sunday. At least when he's in position to take a mark, he'll hold it. Some of his desperation at ground level was also good ... rates way ahead of De Luca.

Agree with Synbad's assessment that he had a negligible effect at the ruck contest though ... even against the st kilda hacks. We need French and D-Mac in tandem to be competitive over the duration of the game in the ruck.

Actually thats goal not goals. In 7 games your CHF has kicked a total of 1 goal. At this rate he may crack 3 by seasons end

I have said in the past that I would not have anymore to say about Livo, as the MC have given me and him no hope of proving himself.

Livo, thus far has been the biggest dud in my 40 years as a Carlton supporter (Frank Machesani was a bigger dud). I'll rephrase that, he's been dudded more than any other player.

He gets picked to do a role, because the MC believe he can do it, and then they leave him on a bench for 3Q's. It's Bullshit. Where's the faith in the player, and where's the faith in their own judgement? None. No faith.

Have a look at the result. Livo dropped, Thornton takes over, and 3 years down the track Thornton is not living up to potential shown in the past. The MC put these players in roles not befitting of the qualities they offer. More bullshit.

Livo and Thornton are not FB for this era, but we have no other choice ATM. I wish the MC would understand that.

Nothing to lose playing Livo (and Prender) for a block of games. CHF or FB. Give him a fair go. Give him a go now, because in the second half of 2006, I want to see the kids blooded and play free spirited creative football, and enjoying themselves; something that Livo has not been allowed to do at CFC.

Lets have a good look at him, before it's all too late.

Pagan said in the press conference that we need to try to give everyone a go and not give up on anyone (as we don't have any hidden talent). No names but Livo & a few others in similar positions will probabaly get more chances.

Just not sure whether Adelade have an ideal match up for him.

two fourth picks at in the half-forward line..

in fact, carlton, along with a swag of others, let the u/18 all-australian full forward slip past last year, he went to west coast, i reckon he'll be one of those players that in five years time, people will look back on the '06 draft and say "why didnt we get him"
