It should revert to 20 or 24 points per year, none of this combined tally crap. That's a fair qualification system, it reflects the eveness of the competition and a consistently poor performing club/list.

Basically, Collingwood have screwed it for everyone with their resting players/tanking strategy last year. How contrived do their five wins last year seem now? Good thing for the competition they got that extra pick - thier list clearly needed it :garthp:

I agree John M.

They played in two GFs and got thumped by the Lions, they tank for two years because Eddie and the boys realise that they cannot compete against the interstate clubs and their enlarged cap

If you take Collingwood's success over the past four years, there is no way they deserve the picks that they got.

should be as is except under 10 wins across two years (and no more than 6 in any 1 season) for the real PP.

are you being sarcastic?????

There is a board meeting tonight and a decision will be made whether or not we go to the AFL for assistance via the CBF or some other way as we dont qualify for the CBF as it is for clubs how have not as big of a following like thebigger clubs.

Nah. If we could get a McLaren AND Guerra in this year's PSD the AFL have saved us and our future is looking bright.

No he was on the phone for about 5 mins. Couldn't even be bothered coming in to the studio & left Steve Wilson to do the show.

Statement from the club released on the club website on yesterday's AFL Commission meeting. Very brief and just says that the AFL confirmed their commitment to provide us "assistance" and will work with us.

Here's the link:

Malouf should write a tell-all book about his time at Carlton after his current tenure is over....would be a best seller...

• Introducing the sunday home games Indesit kick it with Kouta which also gets around to primary schools to help promote the club

• They held the first business luncheon on friday which has not been done before, 350 business men attended which will help bring mor corporate sponsorship ie selling corporate boxes

• The Carlton shop on Faraday street
