Sounds as if Pagan was planning on using richmonds tactics to beat the crows before last week and will now have to use another tactic. Interestingly that particular tactic requires a high level of kicking ability and precision - not sure we have that at the moment anyway.

Also looks as if French will get recalled this week.

Don't need precision. You're kicking the ball to yourself uncontested.

Have to disagree with you there, Carlton players tried to kick to Uncontested Carlton players but found a way on stuffing it up.

This is why DP is struggling. We could never play a possession style game - we don't have the talent!!! DP knows this and how often does he say "we lack skills", "we need elite talent" and recently "there are no superstars in the cupboard at royal parade". We know this Denis so why do we play a style of game that hinges on every possession being spot on?? ADL can't take a clean mark uncontested and he is our CHF!!! (well supposedly). His comments today are concerning.

While I don't think Pagan's having a superb time of it at the moment, I think he's still got a little bit of nouse left.

Mind games, nothing more.

We'll get pumped over there no matter whether we flood, attack, stack the midfield, or run around in frilly tutus.

Exactly, we constantly miss our targets even when they are clear of the opposition.

Since Pagans game plan has been found out for this week. I 'll propose one for him.

The fundamentals of my game plan for the week is accountability, personal fitness, pride and not getting thrashed...

Here it goes :

We have 22 players they have 22 players. Each player gets a direct player match up and you stick with it. So if that means we assign Carrots to McCleod, then for the duration of the entire game where ever McCleod goes Carrots Goes. Under no circumstances do you leave your assigned player. They go off you go off, they get hurt and don't play either do you. Its like follow the Crow..

I know this might create a few headaches at the centre bounces but this is the only place and time for any exception to the rule.

Sure we might 6to 16 players all running around as a little pack trying to shake the tag, but who cares. We just follow and hunt.. And the way the game is now it will just look like a mobile flood.

Now how does this help us... Well if we are equally as fit as them, we should be able to run the game out. It also means that everyone is accountable. Not one player can say i left him to mark X's man.

Will we win ... Probably not, but we will soon find out who can follow instructions , who is fit and who has pride in the jumper they wear.

Extreme Assigned Man on Man Game Plan....

Is anyone laughing yet???  8) 8)

Makes perfect sense - now can our player execute this? Maybe we will never find that out....

Not bad Tractor Boy, I would have been thinking last week when the floodgates had already opened halfway thru the first quarter, that would have been the reaction.
You are right you will get a gauge on who is committed & can carry out orders. The only thing a lot of people (media, fans etc) will say is it hindering the development of younsters long term. I don't think so, if it is a tactic used sparingly throughout a season.
Will be interesting to see the way your boys come out this weekend, pity Wallace pinched your plan :-D

As long as a don't see Wallet on Monday nights i can live with it... Today i bumped into Richo and Daffy... Tractor Girl reckons i should get matey and free stuff from them. She even mentioned she'd lead them to believe she was a Tigers supporter. I threatned to ban her from all pleasures for a month..... I won she still loves the Blues ! :-D

Fair call, don't worry to much, the same was being predicted last week amongst Tiger supporters, we got smashed by 118 pts against the swans the previous game. Anything could happy.

Why would he even comment on this? I'm sure we were going to use this plan. Damn those Tigers! Now all we have left to surprise them with is to put all our players bar one into our defensive half.

Pagan is becoming sad and pathetic. He is the one trying to take away some of Wallace's thunder, just like Sheedy tried to.
