Very happy to see Troy Bond get the premiership medal he deserved ... evne if it was in a crows jumper.

The Eccles and Gallagher trades were part of the worst recruiting acts this club has ever endured.

I would rate Gallagher as the worst player EVER to pull on the navy blue guernsey.

Saw Kris Massie at the game on Sunday (spying ...as if it will make a diffrence), the kid is huge, he'ld be handy running around our backline at the moment eeven though he's struggled a bit at the crows.

What were they thinking?

 I was wondering if anyone would notice the only Carlton premiership player that was left out of that list.

McKernan won the Carlton Best and Fairest Award in 2002.

(he had one great year and one disastrous year)

I couldn't give a f*ck if he won the nobel peace prize.

He was a toilet of a footballer.

David Teague.....ditto.....one great year....it happens.

McKernan WAS a great player before Carlton, and tied with Voss and Hird for the 1996 Brownlow Medal; but was ineligible because of disqualification.....ironically; he would have won outright under the old system on a countback.

I didn't think we were rating their careers before Carlton.

McKernan at Carlton was a soft, slow lumbering nothing. He would do nothing until all the heat was gone from a game, then bob up and kick a couple of goals in the last 1/4 when we were already 12 goals down. That's of course if he wasn't on the bench nursing soreness after colliding with an eleven year old Justin Davies.

The fact he got the b&f that year is nothing short of staggering, and to my mind casts a shadow over the integrity of the award. It reeked then of justifying a ludicrous trade, and to my mind that stench hasn't wavered in the four years since.

Granted, the Teague comparison is harsh 'cos he was actually good in 04.

All this, of course, is just the opinion of some fat bloke from Sydney who is sick and tired of hearing how f*cking wonderful McKernan was 'cos he won the b&f.
