great first post mate, glad to see stevens have that attitude.

make him the next captian, and you will see me not complaing about it.

same for our kids, we are far from the worst list in the AFL, we are a young side and there is massive scope for improvement in our list still as these kids mature and become men.

dont have much time for pagan though, but lets not turn this into a anti-pagan thread.

great postive posts are what we need.

for whats its worth - reckon we are going to win this week and hopefully some of the negative shit can relax for a week.

i thought we should showed some really good signs on the weekend even though we lost

I disagree. He struggled to find his feet the last couple of years in the midfield, except for his first game. He has improved dramtically this year and seems comfortable in defence.

Otherwise I agree entirely.

midfield apprenticeship begins on a half back flank

Ian Rice will be crying into his coffee right now.

If it wasn't for George Harris in 1964 - the club would have disappeared before Fitzroy did.

And Rice wouldn't be crying in his coffee - he would be lickin his fingers.

22yrs old & you haven't missed a Carlton game in Melbourne for 15yrs. Thats a mighty fine effort.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the blue boys jongun.

At 22 you have experienced 2 flags, and no doubt grateful for the high. Great to see you sticking with them in the lowtimes, as a sign of respect appreciation and faith. You're right that not many other supporters can boast such an accomplishment, but they have stuck by their team for decades without a flag and many spoons.

Great post and maturity to understand where we've been, where we're at and where we're heading. The tables will turn for the better, and you know the reason you go and see Carlton is because you love them, win or lose. They've entertained you in the past and they entertain you everytime you see them.

There's always a positive in every game. I'm with you and it's always great to see that Old Dark Navy Blue jumper out there; win or lose. It's called loyalty.

Just logged on this morning and have seen all your responses...

About time some people show some loyalty and agree with me..

I have been reading posts since talkingcarlton started and was sick and tired of the negative responses people gave...

great to hear people are staying loyal and still get some enjoyment from the old dark navy's

Thats the thing I love about you Prez, like me you reckon we're going to win every week. I always find some reason why we're a chance to win.

Mark Murphy to small to play on a half back flank......... imagine if Denis and his crew read the dribble that poored from the finger tips off some

Its amazing how so many people who have not played footy, coached footy, been in the inner sanctums of a footy environment can be more knowledgeable than those in charge with such experiance

WOW its about time we saw some positive stuff on this website.

It has been a bit tiresome reading the reactive and negative comments over the last couple of weeks.

Thanks for waking me up :)
