Club didn't want to trade him
Was close to going to Melbourne
St Kilda were also interested
Says Denis has now changed his ways a bit; listens more to other people's ideas than he did before.
Sitting 2nd in his dream team league :P

Yeah true but I think you can hear what you want to hear sometimes. Lance isn't really one to wax lyrical anyway - not a great interview subject...

Like listening to Smorgan tell him to implement a claytons youth policy?? :garthp:

If Denis, being such a strong single-minded coach, has compromised his own REAL coaching philosophies, then he is primarily coaching for survival & a paypacket.

Unacceptable.

Does Denis himself truly believe in his newly found "coaching philosophies"??

He doesn't have to coach for survival.

He has a 3 year contract, he has security.

I'm thinking Denis is the type that doesn't stomach being 'sacked' to well.

Oh, yeah, I think you're on the money there pal.

I think the world would blow up if Denis was sacked. All that rage and fury :-D
