Either there is a mystery player, or someone lied.

It's looking like someone was just making stuff up, and it looks like you agree with that.

Disappointing.

Well, the capital letters were a give away. You were shouting, which quite obiviously showed you think whoever posted it made it up...or you were shouting that for...what reason?

I thought the poster was meant to be knowledgeable. If it had been me, do you think there would have been so much conjecture? Of course not.

Maybe it's time to take evey post with a grain of salt, even if you're married to the poster.

We are just so amatuer at the moment. Watching Waite being 'dragged' off during the saints game with an obvious knee injury made my brother comment that even at Redan in the Ballarat Football League there is no way that would happen.

Selections this week just further cement the mire we are in. I seriously think that Vermont would give us a real scare this week if we played them!!

Ooooooooooo...

Yeah. It's weird. I thought I knew who posted this, somoene with supposedly good authority. But when I did a search for it, it drew a blank. The person who posted the rumour (and they supposedly had good contacts with the playing group) said they would let us know if Pagan played the player in question.

From my memory, this poster said the player was a stand-out trainer and part of the leadership group.

Maybe there is not mystery player, but there was a post, and just because it may have been deleted doesn't mean we didn't all read it.

It was EB

Of course, he's probably the only one we can trust then, right?

Don't stress. I'm not going to believe anyone who posts anything here before checking with you first. If you know them, and give them the all clear, I'll be happy. I've learnt my lesson the hard way.

Maybe Pagan changed his mind.

Now you are just being silly. :P

Of course, I meant that I don't believe what I read (just like the newspapers) unless I know the source. I also meant that everyone else should not believe unless they know the source.

Kinda silly dealing with internet geeks like us I know. :-D

Nothing wrong with that, and I was half expecting that after the seven goal performance. I was also 100% expecting the promise of "if Pagan plays him I'll tell" to come good too.

Unless the 'mystery player' still hasn't played.

I agree with the intent - not that its the worst ever, or for a while, I think 2003 teams were woeful when you look at some of the hacks we had playing, but of the list we have before us, this week's team is much closer to what we should have in the Bullants, not the Blues.

Ask yourself - what is the point of Season 2006? Is it to compete in the finals? No? Well what else can a lowly team hope to achieve? Is it to compete in finals in say 2008? Yes, probably.... so why the hell do we have 8-10 players running out for us on the weekend who won't be there in 2008?

Look, I'll cheer loudly from a TV screen somewhere, but the Club is not doing the right thing at the moment.

It happens quite a bit around here

But that makes it hard to have a good internet site. How the hell am I ever going to ever know you geeks? And what would make me ever want to?

Mosley if a side enters the season with any other thought than making the finals they shouldn't enter the season at all. You are selling yourself short if you put a side on the paddock without the intent of going as far as you can.

Maybe it is this attitude that has our club sitting on the bottom of the ladder .

If goal is to win every game chances are you might win 18 of them'
If your goal is to try and win 6-8 games and put development time into players chances are you will win 2-3.

Set your sights high
