agreed with everything but i think scotland's stat sheet makes him look a lot beter than what he really is his disposal isnt too bad but he just gets a lot of easy disposals

I think Blue Vain has mentioned this in the past but the coach wants Scotland to be creative yet before this year had a game plan which effectively stopped anyone from being creative, so what do you expect

Murphy will be a star.
Simpson will be a class player.
Fev potentially could kick 100 goals/season in a good side.
Lance was very solid down back.
Wiggins has improved significantly.

Surely Russell will be promoted to the seniors next week!!!!

My wife had an enjoyable day at the footy on her birthday.
Took my 2nd child who is nearly 1 to her first game of footy.
My 1st kid who is 4 is starting to understand the game better and knows when Carlton kicks a goal and and to get her clapper/bangers and flag out.
I only had to buy 1 bucket of chips which was $4..
It was easy to get out of the car park after the game.

From a footy sense,
Walker - took great mark.
Lance - Needs to stay in defence.
Fev - Busts his gusts out chasing and chasing - (Careful, some are getting a bit late)
Murphy - Should lead some of his balls to the other player with an extra 3 on his back.
Simpson - loves to run that boy, sometimes forgets to kick it...
Thornton
McLaren - At least when this bloke tackles somebody, he slams them to the ground and make them hurt. Must of learnt that elsewhere...

Its all about running and "uncontested" possies!! He does it, LANCE does it, Murrrrph does it. It isn't a sin to get "uncontested" footy. We get ripped apart each week by sides that free up players .... run to space and get easy kicks.

Scotland is a definate positive this week.
Uncle John says so!!!

I agree on both points. Been occasionally taking my kids to Bullants games, but took them to their first Carlton game. And they enjoyed themselves, and are starting to take more interest.

I also thought Wiggins was good. I wasn't sure if it was tactical or just his workrate, but I thought it was quite effective how he ran hard into space to create an option out of defence in the last quarter.

Or the week after. If you live in Melbourne we can only go to one more game in the next 5 weeks.

Port Adelaide's Damon White and Carlton's Troy Longmuir face a lengthy absence after injuring shoulders in the game. :-D

I fell asleep on the couch before half time, so I can't find any positives other than i'm nearly over the flu today.

Murphy - absolute gun 8)
Fev - working his butt off
Whitnall - Needs to stay down back for the time being - moving him, sends the wrong message to the rest of the team - Captain in 2007. Pagan admitted after the game that the players taking chances in the second half was due all to Red. :-D
Simmo - The Road Runner
Walker - Getting better each week and held onto a bit of a speccy :P
Thornton - Kept Tredrea to Nil

Walker - running free a bit more. :-)

Murphy - could he finish in our top 5 B&F?

Fevola - Makes something out of nothing.

Whitnall - just for being Whitnall.

Betts - sure, he only had 4 kicks. But he tackled well and chased hard and EARNT his two golas. I really don't mind if eddie ONLY does that! Besides, Eddie was one of the few times i was excited yesterday.

And the only bloke that went to Betts to congratulate his effort after he laid the tackle that won the free kick at the Lockett end was MURPHY

I noticed that.

Actually come to think of it, i noticed Murphy talking to the players "CAPTAIN STYLE" a few times yesterday.
