WHHHOOOAAHH WBY, that'd still have to be a tidy pickup though!!! Congrats!

All this talk of the AFL holding out just sh1t's me. Surely what Pratt does with Pratt's money is Pratt's business. In the meantime the CFC go down the gurgler whilst everyone else speculates on what a billionaire will do with his pocket change.

The AFL has the responsibility to run the competition. If this means helping us out then so be it. If subsequently Pratt tips in some $$$, then great, but if he doesnt then that is his, and his alone, choice. We shouldnr wither on the vine over speculation about what a rich supporter may or may not do!!!

2nd I thought whooooooohoooo when the missus told me as well. But then while she was speaking I thought if she's stuck around to ring and let me know there can't be much in it...

Div 3 five straight no sups. $1400.

I was on a high for a few minutes though.

Mate about 10 years ago I won the meat raffle at the pub with my team mates after a GF win. That's the last thing I ever won!! $1400 is still a nice little pickup, but you're right, not quite in the Dick Pratt leagues. In fact that is probably Pratt's annual dental floss budget!!!

Well said 2ndeffort - there is far too much pissing around with the future of this club and all the intrigue and rumours is starting to annoy the shite out of me.

Someone needs to make a f%&king decision at the AFL about helping us out or not or better yet, someone needs to lead this club. Do you hear me Smorgon?

I am not looking for a handout from the AFL, just some direction/leadership/balls/decision making.

I am a patient person and I have been since 1995, but this is getting ridiculous - someone make a decision about WTF we are doing going forward!

Must be patient, AFL to chip in with what they can and then hopefully someone to come over the top and fill the void.

If you were Pratt or who ever you wouldn't just throw money at the club after they have gone to the AFL, makes sense to wait to see what the offer is and then put your hand in your pocket.
