Wayne Carey said yesterday that if we won it would have been the best win for Carlton in 15 years.

I don't know about anyone else, but I reckon there was a game in September '95 that just shaded it :-D

Not having a go at you TB cos I know what you're saying.

Wayne Carey is a dumb shit who should just stop talking.

20 seconds into this game, he said that things 'Look Ominus for the blues'. NO KIDDING........20seconds had gone.

Then, after half time - he declares the blues having already won this game. As soon as he said that i knew he would jinx us.

I knew someone said it. Thought it was Carey.

Whoops.

'95 and '99 will be hard to top.

To give Carey credit, you could tell he was genuinely disappointed Carlton had lost the game.

Actually he said it looks "onimous"

Sorry to correct the corrector and the correctee but I believe Denis actually said it would have been nearly the best result for Carlton in 15 years.
Or words to that effect.

He acknowledged the Carlton crowd at the city end after that one - gave me goosebumps knowing that he is thru and thru Carlton and will be for at least another decade.

Congratulations to all the track watchers out there who spotted this kid. Those of us who see very little of them have you guys to thank for Marc Murphy, it is very early days, and he will go through his lean patches like every other mortal out there, but the Carlton Football Club have got an absolute beauty!!!

Apparently we have Collingwood to thank......but then again what would I know.
