I think it would be worth a try playing on the half back line, actually give him somebody specific to man up on - like what happened when he lost form during his dad's illness.
He's had a couple of knee injuries and the subsequent loss of mobility means he can't play in the backline. If you think his man is going to run off him in the forwardline...
I s'pose I was thinking if he is going to be in the team then he could do the Whitnall spare-man role, he disposal skills are still good so he could set up from there. It would free Red up to play up forward alongside Josh & Fev
I like the idea of leaving as a spare man. Unfortuanetly he is to slow to play in any key position role forward-center-back. Kuota is a hard man to get around if he filling holes in the back line.
