And not one of them is helping Carlton at the moment either.

As SOS as at the Doggies, not sure how he is helping us out.

We are in woeful debt, so not sure how Ahmed Fahour is helping us out.

DeLutis is a crony of Elliot - I would rather he wasn't helping us out.

Grollo - might get the rebuilding of PP, so might be helping himself as well as the club - jury out on that one.

Too much emotion in that post, DownUnderChick.

So what that SOS is at the Doggies - he's getting another perspective on coaching - I see nothing wrong with that. His wife is helping out the club!!

DeLutis was a puppet of Elliott's back in the day, but still contributes to the club, financially.

Grollo, he's always been a big fan of the club, but doesn't have the time to contribute to the board, and I'd rather he be open and honest about that than be on the board and create no value because of other committments!!

Who knows? You may have seen part of the CFC's board succession plan in front of your very eyes!!!

As long as SOS is feeding plenty of protein and kicking the ball in the backyard to his 3 boys he is helping the club.

Yep.

Steak, pasta and witches hats arranged in the back yard.

Correct. SOS has already done the right thing by marrying a tall girl and having three boys but I'll always wonder why someone at the club didn't try and fix him up with Eloise Southby. Another example of a lack of long term planning by the club perhaps!

Good point. But imagine if the breeding program produced a 195cm full back with 180cm arms that could kick 80m torpedos at will.....

Excuse me I've got to leave my computer now....

i noticed this too - however CDL is a good mate of one E.McGuire...SOS and Ahmed played u-19's footy together and have been mates for 22 years...but it would have been interesting to see just what, if any, CFC conversation was had...I've a feeling these boys might be waiting for things to start looking good before jumping on board...D.Grollo may have sought some council with the aforementioned before rejecting an offer to join the present board - i'm thinking 2008 for everyone (including one b.ratten to come back in some capacity)....once they start to trickle back - wait for the flood.
