I must say that I'm surprised we couldn't find a spot for Blackwell in our 22.

I think if someone doesn't want to support Carlton any more, then that's their decision. Go find a new hobby, one you actually enjoy. Maybe you'll start feeling better.

Cant understand all the negative hype over De Luca. He has played some very impressive games for the Bullants and has been solid in the 1sts when playing. Sure hes been soft on occassion and dropped a few marks he should have taken, but he's still young particularly for a big guy and does get a reasonable amount of the ball, so let's give him a chance at least till the end of the season and see what we think then... I much rather Deluca playing than Teague, Wiggins or Sporn.

How else are we meant to tank?

by playing young guys who need experience at the top level and are a part of our future plans inclusions like de luac have nothing to do with tanking rather they are there to fill holes for the short-term which is what we've been doing unsuccessfully i say play all the young kids who have been impressing for the ants and give 'em all at least 3 quarters people like russell and kennedy and bblackwell should play every game for the rest of the year if available

Actually we need all the support we can get.

it's not called support when your own members are threatening to throw out their memberships that is just a sign of weakness

kangas are a short team, makes perfect sense to bring De Luca back into the side after some decent ants form.

Cfc have stated that the rest of this season is about assessing the future of middle tier players so I think it's reasonable that the assessment should be made on senior form.

If you don't like DeLuca, get angry at Bryan cos he's the one that should be putting pressure on ADL

I must admit, supporting Calrton to me has always been more about the club and the memories than specific players and coaches. in 95 I didnt like every player in sensational team, same goes for this year in a crap team.

I dont go for that "second team" crap, and it is rare that i will bag the blues. What is the point? Every player that has pulled on the Navy Blue is better than you and I - that is why they get a run and we sit here at our computers bagging them. If they have a crack and it isnt good enough, then so be it.

No matter how bad things are, they could be worse - we could support Essendon*!

SO I will sit at home as i do every game that isnt played in Perth, and watch them have a dip. Expect a loss, hope for a win and get plastered no matter what the result.

We need their money...not their support

goes hand in hand usually. There's 5000+ who haven't signed up from last year. It annoys me that they haven't done so but we can't say f#$% off we don't need you when we desperately do.

Gee Headcutter,

I wish I lived in Melbourne because I'd be there to see every game. But you see, us interstaters aren't in the priviliged position you guys in Melbourne are. Maybe you should be thankful for the right to see Carlton three in every four games - I know plenty of people in plenty of locations over whichever border you can name who would give anything to be able to see the Blues play whenever they possibly could.

But you walk away... I guess that in your twenty years of being a member, it is only fair to forget that this club has given you fifteen pretty good seasons. No point in sticking by them really. It's not like they need you or anything.

Ditto......

Seems as though DeLuca's been waiting for Headcutter to show his cards.
