Don't blame CG people, it's the way of the new world and deep down the club and many, many posters are also thinking this way. The difference is that CG says what he thinks.

Anyhow most know where I stand.

I know that a lot of people think that the best way for us to improve quicker is for us to do badly this year.

I happen to be one of them, actually. It's the way the system works. So we have to work with the system, rather than try and find a way to work around it.

BUT, I will NEVER, EVER want Carlton to lose, and anyone who is not just saying we will, based on form, etc, but actively barracking for a Carlton loss deserves EVERYTHING that I or anyone else dishes out.

As for the warnings CG, I'm not scared of you, so take your threats elsewhere.

And, you're still a tool.

How long has it been since we have won interstate?

Although Wolfister says a loss by 14pts, you would think that there is a time that the stats will work in our favour.

We lose, Bombers win, Carlton to the bottom.... AGAIN.

Listening closely with this foremost in the mind.

Tip: Lose by 5 goals

Whilst it might be important for the draft pick, wouldn't a win be nice, for a change?

We do okay at the Gabba, but I sure as hell can't remember when we last won up here. Possibly we haven't since I've been living in Brisbane. A win tomorrow ight would be a rare thing indeed.

Take a good vibe with you when you go out there, will you?

We need all we can get!

I'll be surrounded by feral bogan lions, but I'll do my best. I've learnt to tone down my barracking compared to a few years ago. The ratio of Blues to Lions supporters is so overwhelming in their favour it's not funny.

GO BLUES!

With the depth of the early picks this year, surely it can be a win win. We can win a few games, still finish in a position where we pick up not only a great kid with pick one, but a good kid with our second pick.

Given a lot of the crap that goes on in the world, Carlton God saying "Go Lions" hardly rates as something to get worked up about.

Does it?

2000 R16
Brisbane Lions 2.4 4.8 15.8 17.10 (112)
lost to
Carlton 6.3 15.8 19.13 23.18 (156)
Gabba Jun 25 (Sun)

(thanks to http://www.finalsiren.com/PreviousGames ... D=14&Go=Go )
...but I'm sure Wolfister has more info than that ... we've only won once at the Gabba but have only played there five times since the Bears became the Lions .. our record against the Bears at the Gabba is a only little better (see http://www.finalsiren.com/PreviousGames ... D=14&Go=Go )

THANK THE FOOTY GODS THE BOMBERS WENT DOWN!!! So join in the chorus ...

Saying he expects us to not win is one thing.

Saying that losing is one step closer to ending the nightmare of the last couple of years is another.

Even saying he'd like a Carlton win, but inside he knows that may be counter-productive to what we really need at the end of the year would be logical too.

But he actively barracked for the Lions.

Disgraceful behaviour, really. And from someone who thinks he deserves anything but contempt from us.

You go back to your Prozac-induced stupor, verbs, where there are no highs, no lows, and no emotion. Leave the rest to the humans.

CG is still a tool, no matter how you like to paint it.

Aside from the fact I've never had Prozac, you come across as being all lows. Lots of emotion, but all of it the negative kind. You may be human, but you surely are a sad one.

Is there anything you don't get worked up about?

Me all negative? Show me where I have been overly negative in posts, especially about Carlton, and have a bloody good hard look at the comparison with the general vibe of the threads I post in, and the feeling of TC in general at the time.

Get over yourself.

I get worked up about Carlton, and maybe if you weren't an android, you might too.

You try and come across as "the positive voice of Carlton on TC" but your true colours were revealed for all to see last month. There's no hiding now. When you call someone a tool, we all know what you really mean.

You have a combative approach to posting here.

I like your android and prozac comments. Very witty and full of insight.

To think, "Go Lions" riles you up so much, it makes me laugh.

In a sad way.

No, actually, I don't have a combative approach to posting.

Yes, I see the irony in responding like that.

It's not one comment that gets under my skin. It's a pattern of being a general wanker and all round f*ckstick.

And I've never portrayed myself as anything but who I am. I never claimed to be the bringer of happiness and light. And you sure as hell aren't the resident voice of wisdom, despite how highly you think of yourself.

As I said, you make me laugh, in a sad way...obviously you don't bring joy to anyone, including yourself.

If you get so worked up about ficticious internet entities which show a pattern of being a general wanker and all round f*stick, can't you see how much you've been sucker punched, and the fact you've walked straight into yet another one?

Deary me.
