And we'll have to wait until next year to see the "paper" centreline again of

Simpson, Murphy, Walker.

it wont affect us this year but it would be devastating if our high draft picks keep getting injured because they're the only consolation we get for finishing at the bottom every year and we need them out on the park, as i said before it wont affect us this year but i hope this isnt how its going to be in the future.[/quote]

Bad news.

But he has a lot of time to get himself right for 2007 and has shown more than enough to indicate he has a long long career ahead.

Will present more of an opportunity for an extra youngster for the remainder of the year hopefully.

Injuries happen people. It is sad but its not like we have anything to gain from this year so some of budzy's positive points are appropriate. Long term you dont expect any lasting effects. He takes a break from footy and enters 2007 fresh and ready.

thats exactly right the only reason im upset is that he wont be getting the rising star because whatever he did for us this year would have just been a bonus but we'll have to be more patient and we'll reap the rewards. good times are near for us.

Correct

Riewoldt won it in 2002 after playing less than 10 games in 2001

Now there are 2 players on my "I wish we had Pickett to KO them as a reminder" list.

Milburn and Copeland
