Essendon* mate at work says as far as he is concerned Copeland is a dog. says that we should think about tanking because we will get Gibbs, he doesnt care if the bombers dont get him because he hates sheedy to the extent that we wants Essendon* to go so badly that they have to sack him.

bitter and twisted logic from my point of view, but at least he can see copeland fo what he is.

Thems the breaks.

Negatives:

Wont be available for the Bombers game.

Will be balanced out by Hird being out.

Apparently Lappin's knee is giving him grief...

There's at least 2 changes for this week.

Vice-captain Matthew Lappin also had scans done on his knee and Pagan said the veteran was 50-50 for Saturday's match against Geelong at Telstra Dome.

Chris Newman's likely to miss a year. At least he'll be right for pre-season training.

The the official diagnosis is torn cartilage now so it's nothing to do with the shoulder ligaments which can only be good. Oh well, and extra few months in the gym, image what a tank he'll be by round 1 next year.

Unlucky for Murphy but at least he has learnt (the hard way) that when you lay a tackle hurt the opposition if you can...

Leigh Mathews would love if every Lion tackled that way...

I think we can lock in pick two for this year draft now, after last week also.

yeah i know i was just adding to it. i was trying to say i'd rather newman go down for a year if i were a richmond supporter than have murphy go out for 8 weeks because he could have achieved more. but i understand what your saying BW.

Nah - during Carrots run of good form early last year there was a stream of "is he eligible" posts - it became a bit of a running gag.
