Yep - the question is about Dorotich the player, not Dorotich the player

The story as far as I know is as follows:

The Dominator was in the back seat of a car somewhere near Lygon Street giving it to the wife of a prominent presenter of the evening weather report, who had her own on air position reading the news at the time.

Dorra was simply standing by waiting his turn (I guess you could say he was being his own 'fluffer').

The police happened to make a drive by and poor Dorra took the wrap for an indecent exposure charge so prominent TV personality wouldn't be exposed for doing the deed with Dominator.

This is the true story as far as I know - someone may care to correct or elaborate or moderators can delete if they think story is inappropriate.

another 'story' about Dorra was that he and Fraser Murphy didn't get on too well. Apprarantly during the 87' celebrations Dorra thought he would give Murphy a nice punch to the face. Has anyone else heard that? Both drunk at the time of course

Jon Dorotich yes i remember him..

He kicked the odd goal here and there also, however was an average kick...

I remember a game in 93 when we were playing against the kangaroos... He had the kick in and pulled off a grubber which went to a kangaroos players and they kicked the goal..

They won by about 6 goals i think...

Dora was part of the last large influx of interstate talent lured to the Blues for the 1986 season. Was originally marked down for a key forward post however with a young Kernahan in the team he was used mainly down back with the occasional run in the ruck and up forward. A long left footed kick he was not adverse to using his strength and size to look after the Blues mosquito fleet. Did get reported once or twice and stood up to Lockett and Brereton
