That's why Captain Carlton looked weird this week. He had a blue shaded background but was on a grey background...ah well.. must have run out of things to do have they?

The 'something blue' type treatment still looks like someone did it on Microsoft Word.

Strange how an unoffical fansite can have a more professional logo than a $20million business.

Not really. More time, thought and enthusiasm put into most fan sites - lots of interesting ideas and technical nouse as well.

looks way better last night if you clicked on home in that menu bar on the side then you could see it but if you went straight tot the site it was the old one, anyway it looks way better than the last one and i hope there are more improvements to come for this site.

Sorry to put a dampener on the fun guys...you've done a great job with cointributions...but the site has to do first things first

Put a ribbon on a turd and guess what....it still a turd.........

I've got a great looking car, but you can't drive it anywhere...
The food I cook looks sensational but gives you food poisoning...
getting the mesage?

Look the site has come along in leaps and bounds but re-jigging like this really gives me the shits...Why? Because click on the "more club news " link and see what happens
.....

Or even better, try and buy something and be the flower who signed up as a VIP member and enjoy the loop of "please sign in"...now "proceed with shopping"..." go to checkout"..."please sign in" then "proceed with shopping"......

But that's ok....because it's soo easy to just scroll to the bottom of the page and report problems to the webmaster........

So the site can't give you the latest news and you can't easily purchase any merchandise....but geez...that fading background makes me horny....(sings)
"I'm horny, ..horny, horny, horny, "

In the meantime here's a little something I prepared earlier....(resists temptation to post turd wrapped in ribbon)

The site does look a bit better, but in reality they still appear to be hamstrung by the Telstra backend.

Rather than something that looks perfect I'd rather they concentrate on keeping the profiles, scores and news up to date. The volunteer contributors are doing a great job. Keep it up guys.

Agreed billc3, it has been covered before but some of the problems are a result of Telstra and others a lack of resources directed by the club towards the site. Neither of these things will change dramatically anytime soon unfortunately.

With the new internet deal being 3 times bigger than the last at least the club will be getting a big(ger) fat cheque every year from Telstra. In fact IMO Essendon*'s decision to go alone is looking like the wrong decision now.

That's great news Jarusa! At least we're being "compensated". I just don't understand why there's no feedback though, it's the cheapest "proof reading" money(?) can buy.

BTW JArusa...did the Baest's article in the Age re: policeman (firts AFL player to die on duty) make it to the Blueseum? I can't see it there

Agree, billc.

Wax on, Wax off, as they say.

The site's way way way way way too busy.

Could be worse though, I guess.

At least it's a start.

the player profiles look awesome, we've finally improved it to meet and match other club's player profiles. just another step forward for our club...things are getting better.

Would be great if the drop down menu was available on each page though so you didn't need to go back a page to select a new profile. Otherwise, they do look good.

i'm just doing something on the blueseum and does anybody know if the demons were called the redheads or something like that previously or have they always been the demons? i've been on their website and read through their whole potted history and it doesnt get a mention so i assume that they've always been the demons.
