It's now very clear who has to leave. But will we make the correct move.

Apart from that we continue our fine tradition of making ordinary teams seem like superstars when it comes to goal kicking. How many times have we played teams recently that have kicked with such accuracy ?

AW fought back well against Ablett
JK - a little better than last week, inlcuding a strong one on one mark in last qtr for two goals
Fev - great FF, 16 possies for 4.1
mcgrath - good game. one of our best and 10 contested possessions
wiggins - one of our best over last 6 weeks and 9 contested possessions
simmo - 20 possessions, our most effective disposer of the pill

other than that......well the day is looking up as iget myself into it :)

We only had to kick out from FB a few times so we couldn't bugger that up too often. :P

Sporn, Bannister, French all showed they won't be here next year.

I wasn't disheartend by the result. Simple fact is the skill level was the difference. The result was inflated by the accuracy of the Cats.

Move on and hopefully the match commitee make the hard call and drop French, Sporn and Bannister for good.

Simmo, Carrazzo, Fevola, Wiggins, Scotland, Whitnall all played well.

Carlos will learn more again. Thought he showed some dash, but stuggled alot reading the play.

JR made a couple of mistakes but again he does put the second efforts in, which in the long run when he irons out his those mistakes will make him a star. I guess the same can be applied to Blackers and kennedy also.

The good thing is we get to watch these kids learn at the moment ahead of the tried and failed.

Kennedy's mark in the last qtr was terrific and it was suprising that he didn't get more game time.

You're right about Sporn but I still think we should persist with Banno, he really wasn't that bad today. We have to keep French. McLaren hasn't shown a thing this year so they will probably keep French.

On that note effes....WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN OUR BOX! We are down by atleast 50 in the 3rd term we no we will not win and i look down and see Kennedy Blackers Russel and Mclaren(dont care bout him) on the bench. It is a disgrace! If you have the kids in the team then play them. Sitting on the bench watching us get killed canot help..its beyond rediculous...We are a shamble on and off the field!

Yes he really was that bad today. I was at the game and I'd be in complete shock if he hit one target today (assuming he wasn't aiming to hit Geelong players on the chest with every kick).

Positives.... Simmo is a pretty good player and Fev is a gun. Not much else.

Why does everyone ove banno so much? he got 11 disposals and 2 marks today and it was one of his best games for the year, we should probably keep him on our list for 1 more year so that we arent too depleted in his position as a sort of defensive tagger but delist him at the end of next year unless he makes serious improvement. the positive of this post is that if he keeps playing the way he does hopefully common sense will prevail and we'll delist him at the end of next year.

Not really a positive but could Geelong do a thing wrong today? We had around as many scoring shots for much of the game and only 5 less in the end but to kick 23.4 was quite unbelievable.

what do you like about him? he couldnt get a game for Essendon*, he's got a great body but his football skills arent good enough. im not questioning how hard he trains or how hard he tries or how good a guy he is im just saying his football skills arent good enough for him to be playing afl football.
