The 2007 playing list will hopefully look something like this:
1. Andrew Walker
2. Jordan Russell
3. Marc Murphy
5. Josh Kennedy
6. Kade Simpson
8. Lance Whitnall
9. Jason Saddington
10. Dylan McLaren
13. Luke Blackwell
14. Brad Fisher
17. Setanta O'hAilpin
18. Paul Bower
19. Eddie Betts
20. Cory McGrath
23. Adam Hartlett
24. Nick Stevens
25. Brendan Fevola
26. Adrian Deluca
29. Heath Scotland
30. Jarrad Waite
31. Jordan Bannister
32. Bret Thornton
33. Ryan Houlihan
34. Simon Wiggins
35. Anthony Raso
37. Jake Edwards
38. Ryan Jackson
39. Daniel Batson
40. Adam Bentick
41. Jesse D Smith
42. Craig Flint
44. Andrew Carrazzo
45. Aisake O'hAilpin
1st round pick: Lachlan Hansen
Priority pick at end of first round: Brock O'Brien
2nd round pick: Albert Proud/Brent Renouf-pick either!
3rd round pick: Sam Sheldon (F/S)
4th round pick: Gary Moss
5th round pick:Tim Houlihan

I would be ecstatic with this list-heaps of youth, talent and potential. This is just about the best list we could hope for unless Judd, J Brown and Pavlich all demanded trades to Carlton

Show what you hope our round 1 team would look like if this list was to eventuate. I will put mine up later.

Even if we keep Batson We need another potential ruckman in the draft. Never more evident than on Saturday.

David Teague will not be delisted and i think you are pushing it for us to promote 5 rookies,Batson and Smith will not survive if they don't get a game in the seniors, but Flint and Jackson will be promoted and Aisake O'hAilpin will get another year of his 3 on a rookie. Carlton will not delist more then 6 Players of the list. They will probably replace 2 retirements for 2 rookies and maybe have 4 to 6 delisted for the Draft,i reckon 5.

So it's 7 new players if French and Kouta hang it up,8 is the most.

I LIKE THAT TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! I REALLY DO! :-D

But i'd swap Ryan Houlihan & Simon Wiggins for Adam Bentick & Andrew Carrazo.

Sure.

mjonc - think teague is contracted. Under the 2005 'only delist those without contracts' teague may be saved. Insofar as they are very aggressive in delisting / trading others we may need some insurance players like Deluca, Teague, Bryan and Bannister in case of injury.

Surely they only gave him a 1 year renewal? or an intial 3 year contract? Oh i forgot this is Carlton we are talking about. Daniel Kerr would of had no charges to face at the tribunal tonight as we have no balls to hit

Pretty sure Teague did get just the one year renewal at the start of this year.

Nearly Certain he has at least 1 Year on his contract left and is a Best And Fairest player,So Carlton will still keep him in case he gets his form back as his age isn't over 28 but could be delisted if he hasn't got a contract,it probably be out of him or Bannister or Davies or a long shot Mcgrath if there is another one to be delisted.

Delisted/Retired pretty sure these will be the guys to go

1 Chambers
2 Prendergast (Has Been Saved Before)
3 Longmuir
4 Livingston (Needs a Miracle Now To Be Saved in the next 8 Weeks)
5 Bryan (No opportunity really given this year, must do damage if he gets one)
6 Koutoufides
7 Sporn (Has Been Saved Before)

Not Sure about Barnaby French probably stay on.
