Good one, Rod. I can remember you talking about Harmesy's kick in a

previous thread. Anyone who admires Harmesy is an automatic legend in

my books.

1) Wayne Harmes - the best kick i have ever seen. He pummelled the ball into submission.

2) Jezza - because of the marks and the freak goals.

3) Big Nick - because he put the fear of god into everyone.

My number 2's and 3's can change... Where is the room for Wayne Johnston and Sticks and Fitzpatrick etc...

Dannyboy - I can understand your selection of Ragsy at number 1. What a player, what style....so unique. Shame I couldn't fit him in my top 3.

1. Kouta
Was THE player of the 90's, i don't give a @#$%&! who says otherwise!
One handed pick-ups, plays forward, back, midfield, and IMHO is the BEST centre clearance player of all time!!!!!
*** 2 time B&F *** 2 times AA *** AFLMVP *** his list of achievments goes on, but none of them compare to the memorable games that he has given Carlton and football fans in general.
- 99' Prelim
- 95' Grand Final
- His entire 2000 Season
- 97' Vs West Coast
- 2005 Farewell to PP (If we had won that game, his performance would have gone down as one of his best ever!)

The list goes on.
Gonna name my first born after him.

2. SOS
THE Greatest Full Back Ever! Such a under-valued position he had, but such appreciation for how good he was was the view of not only Carlton fans, but every other sides fans out there.
My 'One-Eyed' Collingwood supporting mate even loved him.
Such Trust, Courage, Leadership & Determination is something that lacks in the modern day footballer which is why players like SOS only come along only so often.

Gonna name my second born after him!

3. Kernahan.
The next generation of CHF & FF's have moulded their game around his career. But none of them will match he leadership qualities which only come along Once in a Lifetime.
Would (and still does) inspire his team in ways that only great leaders do, and others watch in awe!

I'm only planning on having two kids Sticks, sorry mate!

If i was older, i would probably be saying:-

1. John Nicholls.
2. Jezza
3. Brucey Doully

In 10 years time i'm (hopeing) that i'll be saying:-

1. WALKER
2. MURPHY
3. FEV

What about an emergency bench - it is impossible to list all your favourites. These are some I couldn't fit:
Crosswell, Craig Davis, Russell Ohlsen, Rod Galt, Mark Maclure, Bosustow, etc.

In reverse for those who have put Hanna down - his kicking was on a par with Beaumont.

Surprised that people had Hanna listed. I thought he was very overrated.
Luckily Riccardi got injured in the 95 grand final early in the second term. He was cutting up Hanna before that

His is one of my favorite players and will always be you cannot question anyones selection as stated above. Riccardi form is the 95 grand final has nothing to do with Hanna being a favorite player.
