Will be at the Mitcham Footy Club tonight to talk to the senior players.
He is apparently going to be showing us footage of Carlton's strategies over this year. That's if we even have one.

Might see if I can have a quick chat to him about the rookie situation, however, I doubt I'll get much out of him other than what's been said in the latest article.

Is it just for the players PJ or are paying customers coming?

Not much has changed in 20 odd years - we used to smash Mitcham the easy beats

For the players.
He's coming down at the request of one of our assistant coachs who also happens to be a friend of his.

hate to sound negative but you will get stuff all out of him, a friend of mine used to have contact with him weekly when he was at North - he wouldn't even drop hints regarding injuries, ins and outs etc. Really keeps to himself - I will be glad if this is incorrect!

He had stuff to hide at the Kangas, what has he got to hide at our club?

Ok. So when the assistant coach labelled this guy as "Pagans right hand man" I thought he was referring to Trout. Wasn't him. Turned out to be a bloke by the name of Brett Munro.

His job at the club is too review tapes of the previous, chop it up, show what was done wrong, show what was done right etc etc He is also required to get footage on Carlton's next opponent and chop it up to give to the mids, backs and forwards.

Gave us examples of what was meant to be done in a certain piece of footage and what the end result would have been.

Full of praise for guys like Eddie Betts, Kade Simpson, Carrots, Murph and Heath Scotland.

He sits up in the box every week with Denis. As we all know Denis is a bit of a hard man, but Brett told the boys that Denis has thrown a phone or two in his time at Carlton. Also says that if Denis asks you a question about who's on who etc, he expects an answer straight away or you get a baking.

Why doesn't Denis know himself?

When Dp was asked a curly one at a press conference by a journo a few years ago DP replyed with the old chestnut "What would know about top line sport son" The journo said "well I dont want to boast but I represented Australia in the long jump final at the Olympics finishing behind the great Carl Lewis" I think it is Dave Coulthard or something like that. The Great DP was stuck for words which would make all Pagan haters happy. Elshaugh is Denis' right hand man a guy who probably agrees with everything Dp says. The most important criteria for the job.

Story was told on SEN this week.

Gary Honey - who took silver in the Long Jump at the 84 Los Angeles Olympics behind Carl Lewis. I think he had the breakfast show with KB on Sport 927 a few years ago.

Brett Munro & his family have a deep history with the EFL. He started with East Burwood footy club where his father is a Past President then the family went to East Ringwood footy club.
They've had a long association with Eastern suburbs footy and good to see that continue.
