I think Bryan and Prender should come in too.

Why Houlihan, Budzy? No good? Sounded ok on the radio.

I'll choose the fat kid who always gets picked last, thanks

No I won't - I'll choose:

IN - Kouta, Bryan

OUT - Sporn, De Luca

Hmm, probably not Bryan actually. Maybe just:

IN - Kouta
OUT - Sporn

That's my pick

I think Houlihan did a great job for us today. Sporn couldn't get near it, nor could Lappin - but is that his fault or the desperation of his re-inclusion ie. the Match Committee? Teams that go into a match with injured players deserve to lose, and he looked extremely slow today.

If Waite came in he would have to replace DeLuca otherwise we'd have too many forwards. If DeLuca goes out you'd have to bring Bryan in for the spare ruck role. I have severe reservations abot having Waite and Fisher in the same forward line, both comign back from long injuries. but if they are that desperate then it will be:

In Waite, Bryan
Out Sporn, DeLuca

I reckon Kouta won't be back for another week.

Out: Sporn

In: Waite

I want to see the full stat sheets before I'd make anymore changes, which has Russell lucking out.

i would also drop Lappin

So changes i would make would be Lappin / Sporn / Deluca

Bring in Bryan / Russell / prehaps elevate a Flint or Jackson

I dunno, Jimmae - I reckon the Match Committee AND Kouta would be keen for him to play against the Bombers

IN : russell, waite
OUT: sporn, de luca

both the players coming in play same position as the ones going out only problem is it'll leave all the ruck work to french who struggles as it is.

Rotate Waite, Setanta and Kennedy through as pinch hitters, provided Waite and Kennedy's knees are sound.

i dont know about waite but kennedy was a ruckman until he started playing u/18's. but as u said provided his knees are good enough.

I'd love to see the following forward line:

Fevola, Waite, Fisher, Kennedy and DeLuca.

I think if we had all the boys in next week and a solid backline, we would be the outright faves to win next week.

that will definitely make it hard for the opposition to man up as they are all so tall but the biggest worry with that would be what happens when the ball hits the ground, eddie cant be everywhere and even when he is there he's not really good at crumbing packs and snapping goals when compared to other small indigenous forwards like davis, farmer etc.

Yeah nah, might be a bit tall and crowded, Houla

Not that I've got an alternative!

Showed some of his better known form today.

He wont get dropped, but I'd drop him.

McGrath got enough of the ball to not get dropped, but I'd drop him.

I wouldn't drop Deluca. I think he's showing enough to suggest there's something there. At the very least you showcase him for the rest of the year and hope aother club sees enough to offer a 4th round pick for him.

In: Waite
Out: Sporn

Jacko and Flint are knocking pretty hard, Flint nearly smashed the door down yesterday. I think Kouta is due back this week as well along with Waite.

Whatever way the selectors go we must win this week. If we are to win two more for the year this is one of them, relegate those cocky pricks to the spoon they deserve.

I think that Cory McGrath will play every remaining game of the year. Matthew Lappin will probably have to pass a fitness test to come up...Jackson will be eased into senior footy - in 2007 and Setanta will start on Scott Lucas...Bret Thornton needs 3rd best forward.

McGrath is the worst player in the senior side. He is behind ADL because at least ADL can be a pinch hitter in the ruck.

McGrath's choices on the field continually hurt us and his kicking is poor at best. Its a shame that he gets so much of the footy because those touches could be valuable if in the hands of someone credible. Mick Malthouse faced a similar conundrum with McGough... Time for Denis to see the light.

OUT: Mcgrath, Sporn
IN: Russell, Waite

I'd like to see ADL walk the plank as well, but I don't know enough about the young ruck stocks that we have and if Bryan hasn't got a look in by now, he can't be up to it. Is it beyond Setanta to play in the ruck? It'd be a good place to hide his skills - ruckmen are allowed that luxury...
