I thought Houla and DeLuca were ok. Sporn should NEVER play AFL again, especially for Carlton. McGrath still can't grasp the pace of the game.

Out: Sporn and McGrath
IN: anyone except Teague

I think Sporn might have played his last game for Carlton.

Although I don't agree with the sh## being put on Hoops, not this week anyway .. I thought he had a good game today .. just could work on the kicking up forward ...

QUICK QUESTION

If they still do one-on-ones at training, and they match Callum Chambers up with Trent Sporn, what the f*ck would happen?

I RECKON THE UNIVERSE WOULD COLLAPSE IN ON ITSELF.

I'd have thought you'd need at least a D-cell

Exactly my point .. although do they have cotton-wool padding in the grandstand for Hird?

Sporn maybe Deluca maybe Lappin maybe Bannister maybe French.
French didnt do much around the ground.Bryan deserves a game.Deluca would be unlucky to go but I would give him a run with the ants.O'Hailpin deserves another next week.Does anyone know if Waite and Kouta are available

I know what we could change for the bombers game

We could try winning

That would be a nice change

Wouldn't we end up dropping half the side?

Yes, but we have to start with the worst offenders.

I reckon Bannister has done well since he's come back into the side, no way I'd drop him, would definitely prefer he played than someone like Teague.

People that say Houlihan should be dropped, are you fair dinkum? He's not my favourite player but I think that generally he is having a decent season. Today he was on Eagleton and beat him comprehensively, just like he beat Akermanis a few weeks ago. No he probably shouldn't have to be playing as a tagger type but he is doing the jobs that are asked of him with aplomb. Would be one of the safest in the side at the moment I reckon.

I reckon Setanta has to keep his spot and Russell should come back in after being a late out today, and he should replace Sporn. If Waite comes back then I suppose he'd replace Deluca who would be a bit stiff. It would then leave us having to recall either McLaren or bring in Bryan.

Waitey is right to go pending getting through this weeks training...Kouta may need another week.

As long as we don't see Teague come in, and that we do see Sporn go out, I will be happy.

But, I think that we need to somehow include Bryan, Waite, Russell, Kouta, and a rookie (I would prefer Flint at the moment). Very hard to squeeze them all in.

Maybe:

OUT: Deluca, Sporn, McGrath, Banno (unlucky, but I think he has done well enough to warrant a spot on the list next year) and Lappin (unlucky, but didn't look right today).

In: Bryan, Waite, Russell, Kouta, Flint

Flint has been playing really well lately and deserves a go. Jacko also deserves a go, but I think that Flint is slightly ahead of him. Could turn into our own version of Dale Morris, which would be brilliant-I would play him on Renolds if he stays in, or even Lovett, but I doubt Flint could keep up with him.
Bryan to play off the bench as a 2nd ruckman, drifting forward sometimes to provide another option.
Waite to resume his duty as a HFF and dangerous goalkicker.
Kouta there to provide more leadership and experience. Possible CHB? Maybe stints in midfield, or even forward. If Kouta isn't quite ready, Banno stays in for another week.
Russell would be my pick to go on Lovett, running off him and making him acountable on the counter-attack. Being reasonably tall for a midfielder, maybe to play in an Andrew Embley sort of role-tall midfielder who is dangerous when moving forward to provide an option. Tries his guts out the whole time does this kid, so if he is over his illness, should come straight back into the team.

Don't know that we should be rushing Waite & Kouta back. We've already got Fisher looking under done & we can't have too many under done players at the same time.

And you'd have to say our midfield is performing better without Kouta in there
