After watching the way we non-del;ivered the ball to him on Sunday, our current game plan won't miss him.

Ask how far the contractions are apart and let the club doctor advise.

I think anyone who misses the birth of one of their children is missing out buy also accept that it is a personal choice for each individual to make.

To those who think Fev has grown up alot in the past 12 months and really matured, wait until he sees his first child born - his eyes will really open up then.

Are you suggesting bring Fev to the bench every 3 minutes.

Agree M3 - Never played AFL (for those who suspected otherwise), but I couldn't imagine ANYTHING coming close to the birth of my two boys. Wedding day rates ok... buy only when the missus is around. 8)

Had it been last Sunday, combine the screams and the Bulldogs club doctor and would have been reminiscent of a 70's stick flick. :)

Please tell me what he is missing out on I would really love to know what blokes find so fascinating about child birth.

Having the baby handed to you wrapped in a blanket and holding for the first time is something special. The crap that goes on to the hours leading up to it you could do with out

Fev's choice & I respect whichever decision is made. But I think he should be at the birth. Family is far more important.

He'll have time to play the second half and still make the birth. Unlikely even for a second child to arrive in under 2 hrs from commencement of labour
