I can assure you that the club many, many months ago received enquiries as to the Gardiner Stands future and from what I hear, the 'nice' things will be retained by the club (1920's wrought iron etc.)...however it's more than likely some miscellaneous peices might be available for sale.

I thought this was a thread about this week's match ...

I grabbed a brick from the old MCG Smokers stand and built it into my garage wall.

What did the brick cost you?

By the way the last time you were in here which was before Round 1 you told us Nathan Jones would be the equal of Marc Murphy. I know it is only early on in their careers but has your view changed at all or do you still think that will be the case?

It cost me a chat with one of the security guards but I would've been prepared to pay for it ...

Yes, I was and Jones made a very nice debut on the weekend. Both will be very good players. I also predicted a Carlton win R1 but all that belongs in another thread ...

You did predict a Carlton victory in round one and we are still baffled at how we one that one
I will look forward to the carroll /fevola match up -Hollywood is really our only elite player
Will wheatley be recalled to play on waite - Jarrad had a good first game but is still underdone but hasnt hurt the opposition like he did in the first game
Will be interesting if Pagan plays Carrazzo on johnston
