Russell!

Ours not theirs. Watch how now they'll mention his speed. They will now notice, His pressure, his willingness to take the hit - @#$%&! fantastic!!!!!

Can't believe it!!! Just back in from a huge day out to see the score - brilliant and the best positive is that the better players were all the young fellas!!!!
Go Blues!

Good win .The pressure never let up.A good team effort.Everyone made a contribution.Couldnt go today.Spewing I missed it but will be there next Sunday where we will probably be favourites.Credit to Houlihan.Had a Barry Crocker against the shockers but bounced back. To hear the song sung was music to the ears.

As for the GrandFinal if it isnt WestCoast v Adelaide it will be ugly. With Pickett and Davey out the Demons were well and truly exposed yet again as a bunch of front runners. This club is a flower joke.

Simpson.

With his frame, I fear the worst for him every time he charges into packs at full steam, but he keeps doing it.

Got cleaned up a beauty by Carroll right infront of us in the last quarter, but kept running and got us the sealer. Gun.

We finally got more goals than behind. Maybe the boys have been practicing shots at goal properly for once!

When the game was up for grabs, Denis put Setanta on the ground ... and he more than held his own. Should be great for his 'development'.

Agree with all of the above posts.....Russell is a good player now and will be a gun....like Walker; he's taking some time....but he's only a kid; and he's quick.....oh....and Tex WILL take a screamer one day.

What about Eddie's chasing and tackling?....so much to like.

Today was a special day....we fought it right out....and won!

russell is better than what simpson was at this stage.

tex has taken fist the ball at every opportunity to a new level by "punching the toyota across the line" according to the fox footy commentators.

and eddie everyime he touches it something seems to happen doesnt it, how good was that goal he bought for fevola when fev fumbled then dribbled it through from the boundary, came blame fev for fumbling it though i think everyone was awestruck at what eddie just done.

A couple of Fev's goals were great.

i guess it sort of made up for the poster he stabbed at and the one he kicked into the man on the mark.

Anyone else hoping the Dees win the flag now???? The book "Things Carlton Supporters have to brag about 2002 to 2006" is pretty thin but rolling the eventual premiers twice in one year would be a worthy entry!

In 01, we pummelled the eventual Premiers. In fact so badly, that the match was their inspiration to toughen up for the rest of the year.

Walker and Simpson are fast becoming elite players
Waite and Fisher taking strong marks up forward and kicking straight.
Thornton solid down back.
Eddie Betts constant harassing of the opposition.
Jordan Russell - I really like this kid.
Bentick and Blackwell both very soild.
O'Hailpin did some good things when he was on the field (when the game was up for grabs).
Fev will win the Coleman.
Murphy, Kennedy, Bower, Hartlett plus Gibbs/Hansen to come into the side.

There was a bit in the last quarter where the ball fell in Setanta's hands at a centre clearance and the boy just took off thru the corridoor leaving Melb players in his dust. Despite a dodgy kick at the end of the play it was exciting to watch.

Russell's double chase and tackle was tremendous in the last quarter also.

The little melee at half time was good to see in a way too, the first time I thought we had won one of those push and shove matches in quite some time.

What a great win. You'd have to say it now, the Dees are our beetches!!!
