Nothing wrong with David Dickson the coach, and probably nothing wrong with his ability to make a call on talent.

But have you heard the PR crap he spins? Other representative coaches are believable, but you know David is talking crap.

Your ability to call into question everything remotely relevant that I say is bewildering, and the fact that you haven't even bothered to research why I've said something before you come out and have a blast at me for it is ridiculous.

I went to the championships and reported back to prove a point, not because I think I'm the greatest talent scout the world has ever seen.

What do you know about other representative coaches?

How do you know David is talking crap?..Give me an idea about your ability as an elite talent expert versus someone who has shown to have an outstanding abilty to Coach at the under 18 Level.

Additionally given Dicksons record why would'nt he be as well qualified as anybody to comment about elite juniors?

I'm not an elite talent expert. David would be well qualified, but he talks crap to the media.

"Kruezer is the best talent I've had to coach."

"Hawkins is the best talent I've ever coached."

There's a track history behind my comment. More than just those two.

Hence the Kevin Sheehan comparison.

I've read other coaches thoughts, and articles where people have had a chat to them. In fact I've sat near Dickson this year at the Vic Metro trial game and listened to him rate players and speak pretty well about what he wants and who he likes.

But you have to drag it through the mud because I said it, and for some reason I'm some sort of self-appointed doyen on everything. Never was, never will be.

Perhaps if you did'nt feel the need to offer an "experts" opinion about every subject one might be excused from thinking that was how you saw yourself?

As for eroneous PR spin such as "Hawkins is the best i have coached",what is wrong with that?

How many times have you seen him play?

For that matter what is your record of watching junior footy?

What expertise do you bring to the table to make strong assertions about the value of Dickson or otherwise?

I'm in a forum having a completely irrelevant conversation about David and his way with the media... what on earth is your problem mate?

You already know all the answers to most of those questions, stop selectively taking part of what I say and denegrating it to sustain a pointless and pathetic argument.
