This will fire the boys up to go out and beat Hawthorn. We just have to hope and pray that Pagan is thinking more long term rather than 'sticking it up the board', or whatever his agenda is, and pulls a few strings to throw the game.
While the anti-tankers all live in their fantasy world thinking that a couple of late season wins will give us unstoppable momentum for 2007, where we will conquor all and sundry; or they have their own selfish reasons like 'wanting to enjoy the train ride home singing the song', I won't be looking forward to getting that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach should it become evident after four rounds next year that its going to be another long year and we missed picking up a quality kid at 18.

Richmond God, not many 17-20's since 2001 that's turned out to be great. That includes the superdraft of 2001. A few here and there have come along pretty well (Kelly, Selwood, Polo) but most have been ordinary.

2005
17 - Darren Pfeifer
18 - Max Bailey
19 - Courtney Dempsey
20 - Paul Bower

18 - Cameron Wood
19 - Ryan Willits
20 - Dean Polo
2003
17 - Billy Morrison
18 - Llane Spanderman
19 - David Mundy
20 - Sam Butler
2002
17 - Cameron Faulkner
18 - Kris Shore
19 - Troy Selwood
20 - Will Minson
2001
17 - James Kelly
18 - Shane Harvey
19 - Jason Gram
20 - Daniel Elstone
Yes, really worth tanking for!! Prefer to win and promote a rookie such as Smith, Jackson or Flint. We have enough youngsters on the up and up. As well we haven't played a couple of last years pick nor Hartlett either. One more second round pick is really going to see us roar up the ladder. Yea sure! Especially alot of the one's with the quality of those above. But I'm guessing this isn't going to sink into your loser's mentaility. You give me a reason to laugh loudly at least.
