Err ... no Bryan got him accidently with his elbow. It was quite clear on the television.

fevola- outstanding. worked his way back in to the game and could have 3 nominations for goal of the year, equalled his career best of 8 goals dont think the head knock was too bad listening to the radio after the game. has just about stitched up the coleman.

Sorry to be pedantic tb24; but Fev kicked 12 goals in his third game; which was against Collingwood on New Years Eve 1999.....(the first game of the 2000 Season)

Just looked again and no way it was Bryan's elbow as it was at head level and Fev was clutching his chest.

The only possibility other than Croad's fist might be Bryan's foot, but that was too low.....

That was a pre-season game, so it does not count towards his 'official' AFL game goal-kicking record.

Bryan clipped Fev across the forehead with his elbow. As he was walking off the field Fev was feeling his head.

it looked to me as if croad sort of pushed him into bryan and im pretty sure it was bryan's elbow but more croad's fault.

Now YOU'RE being pedantic Jars!....it WAS an Ansett Cup Match where he kicked 12 goals ; but tb24 said "career best"....no mention of "Official" Records........in a Pub argument I'd win the money!

Aaah - okay - I thought he'd hurt his chest/sternum.

Clearly was Bryan then.

To actual positives. Apart from Croad getting humiliated....

The ferocity and desperation in the last quarter. Why does it always come too late.

Setanta's defensive mark and clearing handball that set up a goal at the other end.

Setanta's tackle on Williams that saved a goal.

Oh and Kouta's performance was another positive in that it should shut Allison up for the next week or so....

Oh and one more thing.....

FEV FOR CAPTAIN!!!!

This guy just leads from the front and really just keeps on leading even if no-one follows.

Fair enough, but he might have kicked 20 in the under 12's for all we know.

Fevola's performance. How friggin' good was that goal on the boundary?!?! The Sexy Squad had the perfect view of it.

Setanta's game was pretty good. Laid some good tackles, took some good grabs and gave us a bit of dash. Has all the makings of an AFL footballer. Now that he has learnt to play the game, the coaching staff need to iron out the chinks in his armour.

Thought Simmo was pretty good today. Loved his dash and his willingness to take on the opposition. Was pretty good by foot today and is fast becoming one of our better midfielders. Brendan and Daniel who?

That's all today.

NO!!!!

he was far from the worst today.

After being dragged when a goal was kicked against him (and he was the only one who attacked the ball in that piece of play anyway), he came back and was aggressive, with lots of spoiling.

He also took a great pack mark, kicked to a teammate, which eventually led to Fev and a goal.

That mark was excellent.

Love his attack on the ball.
