Never set up a new topic before, so hope this works. But I feel very strongly about this, so here goes...

What has happened to the CFC emblem that was our official emblem for years, the one with the CFC, and the design around the outside, that looked a bit like vine leaves, and Mens Sana in Corpore Sano underneath (see my avitar)? It seems to have been chucked out with the 'Something Blue' campaign.

I wrote to the club at the beginning of the year about it, but surprise surprise, had no reply.

It astounds me that this famous, bold, striking and historical emblem, the one supporters (ours and other clubs') look at and associate with success and power, has been thrown out without even a word from the club, nor consultation with the members. Can you imagine Eddie getting rid of the Magpie and the Australian and Collingwood flags? Never, because Eddie understands that culture and histroy and tradion are the soul of the footy club.

Am I the only one distraught by this???

Two important things:

1) Avatar.

2) We've discussed this in depth... As the bluehammer has shown.

Thanks guys, I was overseas when that forum was happening, so missed it. Glad to see I'm not the only one.

Apologies for my spelling!

Moderators...feel free to bump this discussion, if that's possible.

Next...
