A young player who was starved of opportunity but hungry to play, brought accross for minimal expense, has shown some real growth and this season has played above expectation. He has become one of the first picked each week and most importantly he has shown the club what trading to advantage is all about - just about the only genuinely successfull trade the club has made since Greg Williams.

I think Matty Lappin was a pretty successful trade.

I don't think Collingwood actually wanted him to go, from memory it was Heath who requested to be traded so he could get more game time. He has been a great pick up.

Liked his year, a brilliant dream team acquisition, but All Australian?

I think we're kidding ourselves there. Heath hasn't played on anyone since 2005

But, what he does that some of the other looseys don't do, is work really hard when he hasn't got the ball. Also generally delivers it pretty well.

Pick 35 or whatever it was was a pretty good deal.

Wonder how good he'd be if he got the best tagg....... oh hang on.

Adrian Hickmott played a few good games too.
