I'd like to see:

In: Russell, Blackwell, Bower/Edwards/Hartlett/Jackson (if possible)
Out: Bentick, McGrath, Stevens (injured?)

As much as we'd love Bower/Hartlett/Edwards to get a game, surely you'd rather them earn a spot than be gifted one...I'd be happy to see Hartlett run out the rest of the season fit in the twos, and would only play Bower or Edwards in round 22 if they had a big game next week. Unless Denis has made a promise ala Frawley in his last year at Richmond that everyone would be given a game (where he played a skinny Andrew Raines) they will not play this year. And I for one, as much as I would like to see them, can see why

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

when Collingwood tanked to finish at the arse-end of the ladder last season, they forfeited the right of their supporters to give shit to any club finishing below them.

Dignity? Yeah, right...

Wooden Spoon was heading to Essendon* until 2 weeks when they BEAT COLLINGWOOD. You sure you can beat another bottom side? :P

Actually another in is #1 draft pick and the opportunity to watch the Pies yet again fail in September, when are you guys ever going to get over 1970 syndrome?

Still your boys will be able to get out on the turps in early September, beat up a few blokes, punch a few women. And I think we might even get to see your psycho coach actually explode, literally. The problem with Mick is he thinks he's smart. Love the Readers Digest quotes he comes up with. Rumour has it he read a book once, and at Lexus that makes him seem like a genius. He doesn't understand how that translates in the real world.

Wouldnt it be amazing if DP pulled one from far left field and played Batson. In hindsight your right Elwood but I do think its worth a go.Maybe Bryan could make way for Batson.

Unless you can persuade the AFL to change the rules your Batson dream cannot happen!

Too late to promote rookies!

Wiggo was good yesterday when the ball was kicked to him, the number of times he was free in the corridor 40 out and we went to Fev leading to a pocket with 3 players on him was very frustrating. The team largely ignored Wiggo yesterday even when he was in good position. While he is not the best shot a goal, I would back him 40 out unmanned directly in front over Fev actually taking possesion and goaling against 3 players from deep in the pocket. Our decision making going forward yesterday was shocking.

 ...... can't argue with that, our clubs is is a rabble and every supporter in the land is laughing at us.

The main thing is that we do have a plan in place, it's all good people, another two years of priority/no.1 picks and look for our dominance.

I reckon Nathan Buckley looks really dignified at the end of another failed finals campaign - with Tania bent over "G-string" showing and consoling him with a pat on the back.

In fact Nathan will join some of the other Collingwood greats (Des Tuddenham - Ray Shaw - there must be a few others as you have lost 20 odd Grand Finals in your time) as a Collingwood Captain of 2 losing Grand Final sides - and all with dignity and a chiselled chin.
