Not asking for the best 3 players ....asking for your favourite 3 to watch atm.

1. Setanta O'hAilpin - love his raw enthusiasm. The hairs on the back of my next stand up when he dashes away taking bounces

2. Brendan Fevola - Enigmatic superstar who is very amusing at times.

3. Eddie Betts - Excitement machine when he's tearing around the forward line harrassing opponents pouring on the pressure. Sets the tone at times.

Same, but Simpson instead of Betts.

Love that kid.

1. Marc Murphy, oozes class that we've been missing for years. He comes across as being such a likeable person you can't help but want to see him succeed. Being our first ever #1 pick. I thought my favourite player should actually still get a game too.

2. David Teague, that kind of courage and committment still counts for a lot when I'm rating players. Maybe blinds me somewhat to the deficiencies others see in him. I reckon he's been harshly judged on two games, Stafford who certainly didn't kick 4 goals on him and the last game at PP when he was caught out covering for teamates.

3. Brendan Fevola, hard to beat 1 on 1 now, his enthusiasm is infectious and in a struggling team its nice to watch someone winning their postion each week.

Jordan Bannister......battler underdog player who I enjoy seeing get the rewards for improvement and hardwork...one of our best trainers and a decent young bloke off the field...

Marc Murphy....class player with all the attributes to become one of our greats...another lad with good character who will be one of our leaders in future years...

Simon Wiggins...bit of a soft spot for Wiggo...he battles on and always gives you a contest and noone could doubt his courage. seen Josh Hunt, Rocca and few others pulling out of contests when the fear factor got them but you know Wiggo will take a hit for the team and you need those players...I'm hoping he can become a Dean Rice type and make the grade.....

I like the way Bannister's staked a claim for a spot on the list. He moves really well & has a spring in his step. I had Essendon* mates who were pised off at the time they let him go & we just might be starting to see why.

Betts has real dash & we need more of it. I love his chase down tackles & am always surprised when opponents take him on.

Setanta because as I said in the positives thread, I get the shakes whenever he gets the ball, but in a good way

This is tough, but here's my top three:

1. Simmo - love this guy!
2. Fev - has made it worth coming to the footy this year.
Equal 3rd. Murphy & Walks - when you look at these two, you realise there's light at the end of the tunnel.

The three players on our list with true skill - I don't think any others qualify yet:

Fev

Murphy

Simpson

Wish I could put Walker in but his kicking needs help
