Couldn't make the game - neck deep in kids courtesy of my daughter's birthday party. But from what I hear on radio and and seeing on the telly:

First 3 quarters we showed some great signs. Ran out of gas as you'd expect with a lot of kids, and lack of midfield rotation (no murph or stevens... or gibbs)

Simmo! Another great game, and I reckon he'll do very very well in our B&F.

Bower goaling - but it doesn't look like he's been given too much gametime.

We got that little shit Didak reported. Hopefully he misses at least one final. Turd.

A great atmosphere for the kids to play in. Big crowd, playing a team that really had a lot on the line. They'll learn a bit from that.

Goals, goals, goals. If you're gonna get beaten by 6 goals, it may as well be in a high scoring match.

Walker. Just keeps getting better.

1, 17 and 19 are much nicer numbers than 2 and 19.

with back-to-back wooden spoons positively sure that Denis Pagan should be sacked.

Without the personal we persisted and put in the performance a football club should. We lost the last and that was f*#ked but it flattered those black/white minors.

We are UP.

Next year is too long away.

Denis has been the dream coach for the last 2 years, don't know why so many bag him. 8)

Thought he was really good today. Got found out a couple of times overrunning the ball and the early match up on cloke wasn't great, but took some great marks and RAN.

Very happy with his progress.

SIMMO!!! Another great game today from our #6.... gee I love this guy, does not stop running all day.
Bower did some nice things, definitely has potential.
Setanta has come on in leaps and bounds in the last few weeks. This experience at the top level will do wonders for his development.
I was just happy to see the boys play with some passion today.

Simpson was unbelievable, all day he tried to break the lines and carry the ball.

Bower was also good, kick a good goal in his first game. Carlos again did some nice things, took some good marks.

Sporn was actually pretty good and among our better players.

Kouta & Scotland did as much as they could which sometimes still isn't enough.

Betts goal of the year, no doubt about it.

Just saw a replay of Eddie's goal on the news..... bloody ripper!

Also forgot to say that I thought Sporn played pretty well today. He played on the ball and did some very nice things, particularly in the first half. Funny what happens when players get played in the right positions.

we played a fanatstic brand fo footy

we flew the flag for each other

we had balls to have a fight

simmo was BO.G by a mile

setanta kept improving as the game wore on and he's going to be a great player

walker has got to be one of the most courageous players in the league and is also extremely quick and endurable

bower had a nice debut

we had no major injuries

we are 1 game closer to the end of this disastrous season

Simmo is a superstar in the making (even my Dad said so).
Bower played well as did Setanta.
Kouta and Whitnall had good games.
Lots of promise for the future for sure.

Kade's game superb. Some players actually 'flying the flag' for Scotland was good too.

Bower got a bit of a run and did some nice things, Sporn did enough to get collingwood interested , we had a good spread of goal kickers.

Eddie's goal incredible.

44 points wasn't indicative at all, the side will take a lot from that into next season.
