- Simmo excellent.
- Walker impressive.
- Bower showed potential on debut.
- Waite played his best game for a long while. Needs to perform like this more consistently.
- Betts lively.
- We have pick #1 sewn up so we can take Hansen and fix our paper thin defence. (please....we can use picks #17 & #19 and the 2007/08/09 drafts on mids. Plus Murphy will be back next year and Russell & Jackson should keep improving).

The hugest positive was Setanta in my opinion.
He didnt have a pretend role like the keeper of the Penske file... he is going to mirror what he did in Hurling where the Cork fans watched him grow before their very eyes.

Then there was Simmo.. who had class.. leadership and frintliner written all over him. A chance to be a brownlow medalist in the future.

Walker showed again how good he is going to be.. but what a waste getting him to tag Dudak.

Bower was VERY IMPRESSIVE.... great game.

Another positive is were home and hosed for the priority pick and another great young kid welcomed into our stable of kids.. all we need to do now is get rid of Pagan and his crew and bring in a guy who can develop the kids who arent freaks.

Gotta agree about the Irishman Synners - any Thomases still doubting should book themselves in for some laser treatment over summer

or stick your hand in CG's side and feel his ribs....

I gotta admit earlier in the year I doubted whether this lad would make it - not so much for the determination, moreso with the decision making and skills.

His last few weeks in the seniors have been great and I'm convinced now that at this rate of improvement he will make it. Still needs development in a couple of areas of his game, but that will be worked on over the preseason and games next year. Loved the confidence to play on and run when he took marks.

I quite agree with many things you say about the players, Synners. There's only a couple that I don't, but that's OK, it's all about opinion. 8)

Simmo was fan-bloody-tastic. Has made it really interesting as far as the B&F goes.
Couldn't agree more with the comments made on Carlos. Cloke led him to the ball a bit in Q1, but our Tex put a stop to that!!
Speaking of Tex ..... What a player!! He's been a shining light for us all year.
And ... what a great game by the "old Bloke". Kouta showed us today that he still has a little bit left to give.
Scotland ..... Wobbles thought enough of his game today to target him. Came back on in the second half and performed brilliantly.
Bower really looks comfortable at this level. Very nice debut!! :-D

The Betts goal ...... WOW!!

Bower...ran back with the flight of the ball and laid the body on the line a couple of times...ripper work for a 1st gamer....very impressed..nice hands under pressure as well..

Simpson...all class, great disposal
Scotland for coming back on after being laid out.
Fev for flying the flag and ditto for Andrew Walker.
Lance...thought he did a good job and took some nice marks..
Kouta gave us some value.

Setanta...lot of good work and only a couple of untidy things....nice stuff from the big Irishman....he is going to make it...

Glad no one is trying to talk up Bannister after today

He lost my support before half time.

kept wondering what type of job Sentana would do if put on Rocca. Strength, height, that defensive punch and long arms. Thought Lance was left too long

Maybe he was tried I had my head in my hands for a while towards the end.

Sporny,

Awesome 1st half.

One bloke who was a sure thing gone come 2wks time.

Fair %&#$ks to the bloke, lifted big time. Bit of the Wiggo syndrome about him.

5 yrs in a totally crap side, does wonders for a young bloke1

May have just done enough to avoid the hangmans noose

a spread of goal kickers not reliant on fev - waite played best game since round 1
Carrazzo beat the NAB rising star Shaw comprehensively -both defensively and attacking -disposal good
More games into simmo -brilliant -betts -excellent - bower looked good
Scotland courageous -kouta best extracting game for awhile - Deluca better game and even rucking wasnt bad - French better this week -sporn best game for 18 months -actually hit targets
Not a bad effort without murphy kennedy stevens wiggins and bentick(who we missed horribly in the second half )

Just got back from the North Bondi RSL and managed to have a chat with a slightly pissed Tadgh Kennely and Steven Doyle. Tadhg does a bit of mentoring with the O'hailpins and was talking Aisake up something shocking. Reckons he is a freak and will blitz at AFL level in not tht too distant future. Said a cuppla nice things about Carlos as well

Just watched the replay and was really impressed with Bower's game. He wasn't a supertsar or anything, but he seems to have picked up the pace of the game pretty well, looks nice and mobile and not afraid to use both feet. I hope he has a solid pre-season and makes a big impact in 07.

Santy has courage and determination written all over him. He still looks a bit ungainly and out of place at times, but by gee he's not afraid to back himself. He did some good defensive stuff today and with some of his marks you can see the potential for a good rebounding defender.

I thought Waite actually played pretty well today. I still reckon we should try and develop him as a CHB in the Grant/Cornes mould.

Fisher too was okay around the ground providing options and some of his field kicking was okay. Sadly, some of his field kicking was still rubbish too.

Fev continued to provide plenty up front too and got a few nice assists in there. Another step in his development seeing he was pretty well held by Presti and Clement, but was still disciplined and mature enough to have some impact on the game.

Shame we buggered up those three early shots in the last quarter though! (Sorry!)

Good observations Camel.

Watching Carlos today, he is starting to now look like less the chook with it's head cut off (more or less). His zoning off is better, his timing of runs is better, his closing speed is special, this bloke is a dead set gun in the making. Imagine him with 50 games!

We are going only one way,
